Big reform over the original Premier line
To start with, let me say I make happen this review is a little over the top. I mean after all, we are talking about a cheap little container we use to store formerly larboard-over macaroni. That being said, if you're like my family we end up storing, heating, and washing these containers a lot and we yearning them to clean up easy, not warp or crack in the dishwasher, and above all, to be safe (especially for use when my wife is pregnant and for storing or heating grub for our children).The original Premier line was the only plastic food storage product I've ever owned that didn't disgrace when it held tomato sauce. It's wasn't just tomato sauce: all kinds of berries in sugar, purple cabbage, beets, you name it we've stored it. They fair-minded didn't stain. They were hard, durable, and the lids were really easy to put on and take off. Microwaving and dishwashing did ungenerous to the appearance (they dull slightly but it's barely noticeable). Easily the best spin-off of its kind I'd ever owned...

---------------I have updated this review article below with an alternative product---------------I'm only giving these 3 stars (I thought about 2 stars) but the reason is because of how Rubbermaid fully RUINED the awesome (5 star) Stain Shield line they had before this travesty came along. I malice to say it, but if you're looking for good plastic containers, these are probably the best ones out there at the moment (because of the Taint Shield technology), but only if you can get over the absolutely horrendous lid design. In my opinion, the Stain Shield containers that these replaced were classier in so many ways. Redesigning the lid to be fancy just ruined the line, so if you're Rubbermaid, how about bring back the old Coke instructions?Problem #1Sure, the lids flex more than the old ones, but it comes at BIG price of being very, very difficult to neaten when the old model was SO EASY! That gray/red part really is rubber and scouring pads don't do well in cleaning...
Momentous except they don't seal liquids
Like the stackability, and lids keep out into each other. The deal killer is that they do not seal in liquids. I bought the more expensive rubbermaid to use camping and picnicing and found that if it tipped, any watery would leak out. Never used in microwave or freezer and were hand washed most of the time, so that wasn't the problem.

I'm a believer!
I from the start purchased these on a very cynical whim. My mom had tried the "bags" which failed miserably so when I ran across this set I really had very low hopes. Well, here are my results:So far I've had the same blueberries in one of these containers for THREE WEEKS. I purchased and washed them on July 19th, the day before a feast party, put them in a Produce Saver bowl and put them in the refrigerator. Some were eaten at the party, many weren't. Today is August 10th and I fancy I'm going to have to break down and make muffins with them or something because they're as fresh and plump today as they were 3 weeks ago.Grapes loiter so fresh in the large container (I buy 2 big bags at a time now) that after a week even their stems are still green. The grapes themselves are brittle and cold.My strawberries lasted for a week the last time before they were finally all eaten. Not sure how crave they would hold up as they are pretty popular. I just wash them, drain...
Exalted if you have a kid
If you are like us you have grapes and blueberries in the fridge at all times. Before we were placing them in dinner service with paper towels to suck up the moisture.These containers are fantastic.Also they are made of Polypropylene so they are BPA free.
Noteworthy, but you gotta work with them.
I've had a set of these for years (all three sizes, with a newer small one bought separately). Given how good the Amazon price is, I just bought another set.You've got to industry with the boxes, and your fridge. If you've got a relatively damp fridge (more common with the side-by-side models, since there is often condensation on the freezer-side stockade drive crazy), make sure the produce is absolutely dry before storing it, or there will eventually be mold. If you have a relatively dry fridge, you might need to add a bit of water to the bottom of the box. What you're storing also matters - leafy greens have lots of surface area to fritter water, carrots have a lot less, lemons have almost none (and an oily skin that prevents moisture loss - I in actuality refrigerate citrus without the lid, just with the grid to prevent mold). If I'm storing really flimsy herbs like cilantro or dill, I'll put a damp paper towel over them in the box, or, if I'm feeling Martha Stuart-ish, stake the freshly cut...

Superlative containers!
I fondness this set of storage dishes. They do not take up much room in my limited cabinet space, since they all fit inside each other, and I LOVE the inside info the lids lock together, so no more lids all over the place. I saw on another review that she had problems with tomato sauce staining the dishes. The way to stop that from happening is to spray a little non stick cooking spray into the bowl before you add the tomato based upshot. Viola! No more stains! I highly recommend this set!
Meet containers
These are in the end good containers. They are a lot nicer than the "Durables" line and are BPA-free (which is important to me because I have small litter*). Mine get sent to preschool and are run through microwave and dishwasher almost daily and show very little sign of wear. The lid stacking is gentlemanly but unless your space is really limited I wouldn't call it a big selling point. The only bad thing I can say is that they can sully when you put tomato sauce in them (like most plastic food storage products).*For those who missed it - BPA plastics have been linked to a reckon of health problems (among other things BPA mimics estrogen in the body) and are facing bans in several countries and may be prohibited in the U.S. Pregnant women and children would probably be best off avoiding it.
