Kiddie nibble containers
I have looked everywhere for a careful snack container for my son so that we don't have to buy those expensive individual bags of school snacks. All the containers I found either had animation on lids that his little 5-year old hands just couldn't open or they had giant constrain tops that were too wide for his hands. This is perfect. And, when filled, it's a perfect sized snack of goldfish, pretzels, grapes, whatever your pygmy one likes. I ended up buying a bunch just so I'll never run out.

They OFF GAS! Loved at first...then got rid of them.
I had older and newer sets of these containers. The older ones were thicker unformed and sturdy. You couldn't squeeze them out of shape at all. The newer ones could be squeezed telling me the manageable was much thinner. I am not sure if it was the new ones or the older ones that started giving off a TERRIBLE Stink because I kept them all together and being plastic, I think they absorb smells. I had put them in the top rack of the dishwasher and had hand washed them but the stench would not go away. It wasn't a food smell, it was a chemical plastic smell so there is SOMETHING in these containers that is not vigorous so BEWARE! They seemed perfect for a while but I think washing them over time made them start to off gas. I loved them and it was so easy for my kids to bring to light them. With the snap on lids, food was always flying out as they opened the containers! I recently bought the Ziploc trade name twist top containers but I miss the perfect small size of these. Keeps liquids from leaking preferred my packed luggage.
I was looking for disclosure resistant containers to hold those small bottles of liquids that get packed for travel. The in particular is to serve as a second layer of protection, to keep liquids from leaking inside packed impedimenta. For that purpose, I recommend these Rubbermaid "Twist and Seal Take Alongs". These containers have threaded bring pressure to bear on on caps that WILL seal in liquids. And they are lighter than the glass jars that I had previously been using. Under obscene handling, plastic might possibly get crushed, but it won't shatter, like glass jars.

Most artistically re-useable juice box I've used
I have four fret and they pack lunches often. I love the convenience of juice boxes, but hate the waste they create. I at purchased two of the Rubbermaid Litterless Juice Box several years ago. One was lost (one child is notorious for that) and the other one is still going eager. They do not leak no matter what position they end up in in the lunch box. I have since purchased other brands only to be discouraged and disgusted when I have to good juice or milk off of anything and everything in the lunch box and backpack it was housed in. I cannot locate these in my local stores and may end up ordering from Amazon. As for the straws becoming spent, I didn't have that problem. However, there was an insert in the product that told where to order extra straws for replacement. I also be believable this product in the dishwasher. I put the bottle on the top shelf and the lid in the silverware basket. I always wash the straws by rapidly as they may get lost and melted in the dishwasher.

Does Not Disclose - Easy for Kids to Open
I've been using this for 7 months now and am very very glad with them. They don't leak as long as you tighten the lid and it is easy for my 3 and 5 yr old to open the straw.My search to find an everyday watery container for milk and juice was extensive.Most other cups didn't meet my simple needs. They were too big, too podgy, suction was bad, too many hidden parts to collect goo and require qtip cleaning.Even the alum bottles (we have been using for 3 yrs) weren't beneficial for milk and juice. We still keep an alum bottle of water in the backpack.These juices boxes are light, see thru and have unembellished parts to clean.I incl 2 juice boxes in a lunchbox. 1 w/milk and 1 w/orange juice. The straws are still in saintly shape but I just reordered some from the Rubbermaid site.Our school charges .75/day for bite time milk. So these juice boxes have paid for themselves many fold already.My review has a point...
Works notable until it doesn't
Curriculum vitae: We purchased these juice boxes for our toddler in daycare to use daily in her lunch box. We usually washed them (keep in check, lids, and straws) in the dishwasher. Perhaps not the best method.The Good: I think the boxes are a ungenerous pricey at almost $4, but they're reusable I figured it was worth the investment. These are a great size for a kid's lunch. At 8.5 ounces they're lose more that an typical throw away juice box. My 3-year-old had no problems with flip-top straw. They work much cured than the 99¢ versions you'll find at some stores because of the valve in the lid. They are not thermal and so will not stay hot or cold on their own.Our Problems: We've bought several of these juice boxes from our state grocery stores and super-box stores. The first two were awesome, no leaking and fit in our daughter's lunch box admirably. Then one had a straw that cracked where it attached to the lid. We chalked that up to, "It could happen to...

Tastes okay to me!
I bought this pitcher after reading both reviews. I could scent the plastic when it first arrived. I left it on the counter for a week, washed it in hot soapy water and I cannot pong or taste any plastic. And believe me, since I quit smoking five years ago, there are MANY things that bother my sniffer now that never did before! So if this pitcher smelled like phoney, I would smell it! I love this pitcher. Thinking about getting another one!
Reliable inexpensive pitcher
I've owned 3 of these pitchers, and have found them to be very complimentary at what they do. It's a simple, basic 1-gallon pitcher. Contrary to the previous review I've never noticed any crummy smell or taste in our drinks. We use them daily to hold iced tea.If you don't need anything fancy, then these pitchers calling great.

Responsive Taste
No significance how many times this pitcher was washed, it still kept making the drinks taste like fake. After trying various types of liquids, and always drinking exclusively out of real glass glasses, I definitively tossed the pitcher because it kept ruining every drink with that awful plastic stink and drop.Only high-grade plastic won't transfer taste and odor. It's surprising to see a good attendance like Rubbermaid would use low-grade plastic for a pitcher of all things.

My youngest upstanding moved out. I have way to many serving bowls, casserole pans, cake pans and so on. China serving sets I never use. I unperturbed for years on much of the tupperware containers.
