Talented Large Pitcher
This is the Most superbly Gallon Pitcher available, works great. Cost a little more than some others but well worth it. Gallon size is great if you have a household. We also have a 2 quart of similar classic design, it's a great pitcher but rather small for our use. Actually have and use two of these gallon pitchers. Was skeptical of how well the gallon mass would work, but ordered a second one after using it awhile.

Tastes okay to me!
I bought this pitcher after reading both reviews. I could breath the plastic when it first arrived. I left it on the counter for a week, washed it in hot soapy water and I cannot reek or taste any plastic. And believe me, since I quit smoking five years ago, there are MANY things that bother my sniffer now that never did before! So if this pitcher smelled like ersatz, I would smell it! I love this pitcher. Thinking about getting another one!
Morality inexpensive pitcher
I've owned 3 of these pitchers, and have found them to be very gracious at what they do. It's a simple, basic 1-gallon pitcher. Contrary to the previous review I've never noticed any plastic smell or soup in our drinks. We use them daily to hold iced tea.If you don't need anything fancy, then these pitchers work prodigious.

Manageable Taste
No episode how many times this pitcher was washed, it still kept making the drinks taste like plastic. After worrying various types of liquids, and always drinking exclusively out of real glass glasses, I inexorably tossed the pitcher because it kept ruining every drink with that awful plastic stink and taste.Only hilarious-grade plastic won't transfer taste and odor. It's surprising to see a good company like Rubbermaid would use low-position plastic for a pitcher of all things.

Tupperware pitcher
My mom had this fashion a long,long time ago and ive always liked it cause it would not spill out if dropped off the table. I realley like this feel ashamed and the sturdyness of the handle. I will have it for life.

Im having pregnant making my sweet tea. I use a kool-aid type pitcher now and my tea turns out fine but when I use my tupperware 1 gallon pitcher it comes out too moist. I use 6 tea bags (small) and 1 1/2 cups sugar...please someone help me!
I use 5 tea personal belongings to make a half gallon, so I would suggest for the gallon pitcher, use at least 10 tea bags, and maybe two cups of sugar. I don't like my tea that sweetmeat, so I usually only use a cup of sugar.
