I've owned both Side antennas and each one was hooked up to a splitter with 50 feet of coax going to two tvs. I tried adding an amp to the first piece of paper but it actually made the picture worse. The only difference as far as appearence is the leaf+ is very slightly larger and you have to publicity it in (either the wall or usb on your tv.) The original leaf seemed to work great pulling in strong but not perfect timer strength but at night two of the channels wouldn't work and when a semi drove past the look-alike would get choppy. I should note that I live 30-60 miles from the towers.I decided to send Mohu an email and see if I could get the improved version and send back the regular one when I got the new one. It happened to be the 30th day after ordering the original so it fell into the timeframe for the 30 day prosperous back warranty. They sent out the amped leaf and boy am I happy with it. Over half of the stations now have a 100% timer strength. The others are all above 85%. There are so...
Talented Antenna - exceeds expectations
I received the sensor very quickly, and set up was very simple. According to the FCC maps I should have good reception for 11 stations, and cushion for 5 more. I was thrilled that with this INDOOR antenna I received more like forty stations very clearly. I played with the arrange somewhat and rescanned and depending where in the room I placed the antenna I received between 39-44. The spitting image is so much clearer than what I was getting with cable. Thanks Mohu for a wonderful product!

A terrific replacement for rabbit ears
In the old days, we had an unattractive rabbit ears setup with the antenna stretching across almost six feet. We ordered this hoping for advance looks and better quality, and it delivered on both counts. The Mohu Leaf Plus was very sincere to install. It is the thickness of a laminated sheet of paper, and has a black side and a white side, and either side can face out. We mounted it chalk-white side out against a white wall, and it looks so much better than the old antenna. But the really great thing was the improved portrayal. The kids & I did a "before" and "after" experiment, surveying the channels we picked up and the picture quality of the old antenna and the Mohu Side Plus. Even better than expected: we gained ten channels, going from 19 to 29, and at least three clearer pictures. None of the channels were hopeless or looked worse on the Mohu Leaf Plus. If you're looking to cut your cable, you can't go wrong with this.

I have been searshing for a attractive thorough Antenna to ditch Cable, after reading all the reviews for the Winegard FreeVision FV-30BB HD Antenna, I was very please with the conceive of quality and the amount of channels that I recieved from my location. (1) The shipment from Amazon was fast, (2) The Sensor setup was very easy, (3) The Antenna is small and light. I have to say that I live in a apartment edifice on the 15th Floor with a plane sight to the Manhattan tower from my bedroom window. When I first setup the Antenna it was next to the TV and it picked up 46 channels, next I set it by the window did a rescan and it picked up 54 channels all close and clear.. I recommend this Antenna to anyone 100%.
Righteous indoor free HD solution, finally!
I have tried (and returned) 3 'better' antennas (including the Winegard SS-3000) before trying this one. None of the previous antennas could catch as many channels as this featureless and passive FreeVision antenna, when placed indoors. I just hung it on the wall behind my TV and it catches sparkler clear HD signals for ABC, CBS, FOX, PBS etc. Every one of these stations is more than 30 miles from my place, as per AntennaWeb. So I'm quite surprised at the welcome. I am still not seeing NBC, but I'm very satisfied with what I am getting for [...].Just one thing to note is that the extra 3 bucks on this staunch packaged version isn't really worth it. So I'd recommend saving by buying the FV-HD30 version, if you like.Bottom role: This antenna is totally worth it and a keeper. Crystal clear (uncompressed) HD virtually manumitted. Truly 'Free'Vision.

With the exception of product and most important Made in the USA
Very uncomplicated to install and excellent reception. Placed it in the attic and was able to pick up all of San Diego and a twosome of Los Angeles channels. Just as the title of my review says, Made in the USA. I just hope that manufacturers twig that most American workers would now pay more for products made in the USA to keep jobs in the USA.To Amazon management; it would help American consumers buy products made by American workers if Amazon would prominently evince Made in the USA on products manufactured domestically. The US Congress, The White House, US corporations and the US Chamber of Traffic will not protect American workers from cheap Chinese and Third World country workers so it is outdated that we consumers protect our jobs from being outsourced by sending them a message, buy USA made products.

Plain, low cost way to get HDTV for free
If you subscribe to satellite or radiogram you may be surprised to learn that in many area, over-the-air digital TV offers better picture quality and may make some unique channels not found on your cable system. But getting great over-the-air TV requires a good antenna. Prodigious indoor antenna for strong signals
I have tried five or six closely-knit antennas that can be used indoors, as I live in an apartment. The best performing of those models (a very essential UNpowered Philips model)could get four of the six strong stations in my town, and none of the four or five weaker stations. And, getting those stations required impelling the "rabbit ears" back and forth whenever the signal went out.This model was designed for OUTDOOR use, but I solely placed it on a window sill that faces in the direction of the six major stations in my community. After moving it left and favourably a few inches, I found a location on the window sill that locked in an absolutely perfect signal on all six of the strong stations and on two retiring stations I had never been able to get before.How good is the resulting picture? Superb for indoors!
I purchased this for my sons' TV in his apartment. I tried it on my set first, because I was snooping to see how it would perform against my DB8 Multi-Directional HDTV Antenna. I put it on my main set and did not mount or took the antenna outdoors. It polish off great for just being in the house and not on a long cable run. On my other antenna I cannot receive my local PBS channels well due to where I persevere, but this unit brought it in well when I found the right spot in the house. I am curious now to see how well it will perform mounted on a mast outdoors. Now in my sons' apartment I mounted the sensor on a speaker floor stand. It performed well and was able to find 7 digital and 5 analog after trying several seats in the room. I do recommend this antenna. Works well in an indoors setting, but keep in mind that where and how far from the stations transmitters you fare will affect the receiving abilities from any antenna.
