Yeessss.... Worked with my Dish DVR 510 recipient
Programming was a torture but it works. I wish all the tabs were included (see that green tab? google the remote - they refer to whether it is a IR or UHF or IR/UHF distant - I would have been better off with a IR/UHF this is an IR, green tab #1).Under "system info" (menu button) you can find your remote "code", which is what you program the Sat knob with. There is a way to reset it if you have absolutely no remote by resetting the DVR and turning it back on. This was hard for me to figure out (fyi, ours was "9"). Once you comprehend what your code is, hold the SAT button down until all the buttons blink, enter the code, and press purge. Easy peezy.

Works weighty
I got a tempered to one that didn't work, but the seller turned right around and replaced it with one that works great. You can disassemble these things at the side (two-sided cartridge), clean any moisture out of them, snap back together and chances are good they'll work (I now have three others working again). Moisture gets into them and they in a word-circuit.

Satellite Network Withdrawn
Our slender was ten (10) years old and needed replacement. We contacted our Satellite Network and was told the charge would be one hundred dollars ($100). It was much higher than we expected.Later, I checked Amazon and found the same subtle for less than twenty-five ($25). It was simple to "set up" and works great!

Terrific product now!!
I bought one of these units in Tread 2006 in response to my wife constantly changing room arrangements, and subsequently requiring that the TV travail in an area that didn't have easy cable access. I looked at several units from other manufacturers, and as a matter of fact bought one to try from Best Buy, which was a Leapfrog, I think. Testing that unit convinced me that the concept was yell out vituperate, and I would have kept that unit except that it operated on 2.4 GHz, which caused interference every time the microwave was in use, or the blower rang. My computer is hard wired into a network as I don't want to deal with the increased security requirements of wireless, and my phones industry fine on 2.4 GHz, so I was looking for a solution, but with 5.8GHz.I called RF-Link tech supporter, got all of my questions answered and placed the order through Amazon.Product worked flawlessly for about six months and then crapped out. By crapping out, I money-grubbing that when unit was in an enclosed space...
Goes kaput post-haste after normal use
This thingumajig worked great for a short span of time (a few weeks), then just stopped working. I returned it to Amazon and received a new replacement. It worked exquisite for a while, then stopped working. It's a great idea, but very weak quality.

So Gain I bought 2
I bought a transmitter and Recipient about 6 months ago to bring Picture in picture to my main TV from a second satellite box. Worked great !!!! Bought the promote receiver to bring TV to my Computer in another room. This also worked great and saved me having to do a lot of wiring and add a third Satellite box.

I dont have line of sight for a satellite inauguration from Dish Network. The view is blocked by other apartments and trees, but the direction of the patio is exquisite. Is there anything I can do to overcome this problem?

I have installed a satellite dish not far away from a powerline. Im not getting a very good signal. The power line is not in the line of sight for the dish. Could the power line be afecting it??
yes the power words could be affecting it but not likely ive installed dish network for 6 years and out of thousands ive seen a only a combine affected by this i would say it just needs to be realigned maybe the mount is loose or was decent poorly installed
