Midget Ground Rod does fine in AZ
We needed to demand a ground for out RCA ANT751 television antenna. Our soil is soft clay, and while I could drive down an eight-foot rod, I preferred the shorter portrayal. However, that size wasn't available locally. Groundwork Rod
I had been leaving much to be desired to part ways with cable service for some time now, but knew I'd need to properly install a family antenna to get the consistent signal strength needed with today's digital broadcasting. I bought this training rod and I am very happy with the quality of it. It is a sound/solid piece of copper with a good design for attaching the wire. I would recommended to a moll.

A copper rod is, well, a copper rod. This one is a petite short at 3 feet to meet code for an electrical installation (8 feet), for unskilful radio use it is perfect. It has a rounded top, for hammering, and a clamp to attach the ground strap. What more could you expect or ask for?The only grievance I had, which I've already written about, was the packaging. Instead of putting this in a tube, the supplier used a box, a huge box stuffed with manuscript. It wasn't enough & the rod was sticking through about 6 inches. Fortunately it still arrived in perfect condition.

Ever since my rope company installed digital cable in my house I have had picture problems. The analog pictures were grainy and half of the digital pictures didn't get in. They just said they would arrive shortly but never did. Numerous calls to the cable company spoiled to come up with a permanent fix. So I decided to take matters in my own hands. Other boosters made things worse. When I saw that this one worked with digital as well as analog I absolute to give it a try. I first hooked it up from the cable box to the vcr and got no improvement. So I tried hooking it up where the signal first came in before the cable reciever and it worked smashingly. Analog pictures are clearer than ever and all the digital pictures come in. No more "Please Wait" screens. I am mad that my brainless cable company refused to do this but I am thrilled to finally have what I pay for! Great product!

As for the residents writing the other reviews on this product, you should not speak if you know nothing about Broadband. First of all, this booster will NOT increase your docsis telegram modem speeds, no matter what you hear. This amplifier, installed correctly (at the entry signification of your home) will boost your forward signal by +15db (allowing return signals to d). Most cable modem operating level ranges are +15 to -15, so if your within that range on your telegram modems operating frequency (for example 705mhz) there is no need for a booster. If you are on the treshhold of timer, like -17db, then this amp will be beneficial to you. Your GUI on your cable modem will give you this reading (http://192.168.100.1 for warning). As for your cable reception, and amplifier can be helpful if you have multiple TV's, to make up for the loss that your splitters devise. Whilom before to purchasing the Motorola amp, I purchased and installed the TERK AMP-15, which worked very well (until the cable followers did a disconnect recently and apparently short-circuited the input). Upon reconnecting my Mailgram service, the cable-tv tech noted that my TERK AMP-15 was no longer working. Rather than upright order another TERK, I decided to check the alternatives. Checking the specs, I noticed the Motorola Timer Booster is a similar product, however the specs are much better (2.5 dB max Noise Figure vs. 3.5 dB max for the TERK) and the Motorola uses the most modern technology available (Gallium Arsenide). Also, the Motorola amp includes a 6kV surge resistant invent (meets the 6kV IEEE C62.41-1991 and 1 kV Combination Wave surge for all ports). I did not find surge guard mentioned in the TERK spec. Nothing earth-shaking about it, but gets the job done.
Other reviews have stated that the makings in this kit is stuff you could have bought at a local hardware store for cheaper. That's probably true, but if you're like me and you have the scant minimum of handyman expertise, it comes in handy to have everything you need with directions just sent to you. Undemanding to use and easy to install, as long as you have easy access to a good grounding site. You'll inadequacy to think that through as you're figuring out where you want to install your equipment.
Research kit helpful but can be made up for less.
I bought the outside antenna grounding kit to go with the Wireless Extenders YX510-PCS-CEL Dual-Band Cell Phone Timer Booster. I wanted to have everything on hand.I used a few of the pieces in the kit, but I realized later that I could have made up or purchased the kit's effective bits myself for far less. I don't recommend the product.

I tempered to to have Dish Network but don't anymore. They told me they dont remove them. So can I just rip the Dish and the post it's on out of the ground and cut the wires that go into the ground or do I have to do something noteworthy to take it out?
Straight pull it out of the ground. The cords that go into the ground go back to the box and up to your tv box. So personally I would cut the cords and then go to the box on your house and see if you can pull it out from there.
