solid and simple
The upshot's construction is very sturdy, and fairly easy to assemble (although I agree the instructions leave something to be desired -- however it is affable enough). The mount is flexible and adjustable for a large variety of installation configurations.One kooky thing is that the mount comings with 4 expansion bolts to attach it to the wall. These kinds of bolts are flagrant for concrete or brick walls (you must first drill a hole in the concrete/brick wall), but they are totally useless for using in wood, which is what I image most people actually want to attach it to! If you drawing to attach it to wood, you will need to purchase 4 wood screws separately. While strange, this is scarcely a big deal.

30" for indoor or out of doors stand
If you got a Antennas Rule's DB series antenna then you are probably looking for a stand for it, which is why you are here. This is a 30" (model # STM-715) j-mount draft to bolt to some hard surface or structure. Included are expansion bolts, but you can use your own screws if you essential to attach it to something else. I wished the base was a little bigger to be stabler, but it was engineered to hold up my DB4 sensor just fine. Just don't bump it or it will tip over. Go to antenna direct if you want to see better pictures. If you got a Clearstream standard then you might have to look at the CJ mount.

We use this extension pole to wash up b purge the snow from our satellite dish that is mounted on a tower in order to receive a signal. The end accepts different types of attachments, which makes it comfortable to find the right one for our needs. Extended fully, it is still stable enough to brush off snow. We also attach a in consideration of bulb changer when we need to replace bulbs in the ceiling fans in the great scope. It works well for this also.

I bought this element to avoid having to position and climb a 30 foot ladder to string Xmas lights on my dad's domicile. He has a two-story contemporary style house with an 8-12 pitch roof - an obstacle treacherous enough to scare the bejesus out of off a locally-respected roofing contractor a few years ago. I didn't order it in time to circumvent having to put up the lights the old-fashioned way, but I was able to take them down fairly easily with the Unger TF900.And it's not sleazy, certainly, but neither is surgery, rehab, or a wheelchair, all of which my dad has undergone in the past thanks to the aforementioned roof.

Satellite Tripod Mount from Amazon
I bought this to mount a DirecTv Slimline 3 dish on so I could have HD TV in my RV. The tripod is solid, and the dish mounts on it securely. However, there are problems. First, it is almost impossible to get the mount exactly plumb when there is not level lees to place it on. This makes it very difficult to get the dish aimed exactly on the three satellites needed for HD TV. Secondly, the three tripod legs do not out out far enough to provide a stable base. The dish has a lot of surface area, and a strong wind will blow the dish over. There are pads on the bottom of the legs with holes in them for securing the tripod to the integument, but often the surface is hard and difficult to penetrate deep enough with tent pegs or other fasteners to keep the tripod from tipping. IF the base is level, and IF the tripod can be properly secured to the ground, it works quite well.
