not as advertised
very dissapointed when issue arrived I immediately noticed the box had been opened and retaped. The product had been advertised by the seller as new. When I opened the box I noticed all sealed packages had been opened. It was missing the gal Friday remote for the 2 room (RF remote). could tell what pieces were missing because all packaging had been opened. In something like this I bought new because with so many pieces for put it is importatnt to know you have all of them. when I contacted seller they gave me the story that in thier opinion it was new because it was never hooked up due to some bull of a book they gave me in an email. anyway I returned the item to the seller and am waiting for my refund they recieved it back on 10-6 and still no refund.What's up with that!

A bit straitening to maneuver
I hooked this braided HDMI cablegram between my HDTV and my computer to stream video from the internet to my HDTV. The picture is clear and the sound property is very good. I don't see any difference while using this cable from computer to HDTV than I do when watching TV directly from my satellite box. The only problem I have with this cable is that it is very thick due to the braiding, which makes it indigent to turn. I need to plug it into one side of my HDTV, loop it around the back of the TV and bring it out on the other side where I place my computer out of tripping collection. The thickness of the cable makes it hard to loop around and it's heavier than the other cables I have. This cable would all things considered be best for professional use where there might be heavy usage and plugging and unplugging of the cord. It will probably advocate the test of time and constant movement easier than the regular smooth vinyl cables. But, for average home use, the vinyl cables are easier to handle...

A Focal Cable at a Good Price
This is the HDMI hawser to get right now: an HDMI 1.4 cable at a good price.HDMI 1.4HDMI 1.4 is the latest sample (as of November 2010 at least). It is backward compatible with other HDMI gear (mine all are HDMI 1.3 in compliance). And it will be more useful to you if your TV supports HDMI 1.4 networking. I was not able to test the Ethernet networking power of this cable, but I think the idea behind it is a good one.For my current home entertainment setup, I had to set up separate Internet connections on my TV, set top box, Blu-Ray competitor, and WD TV LIVE (HTPC). It would have been a lot easier if I could have just set up my TV's internet connection, and allow all of my components to helping it. The same as to Cables at 5X the Price
This is an A- HDMI cable. I was skeptical seeing Amazon come out with their own cables, but these are very good importance. I would equate them to the higher end Belkin Pure AV line, which you can sometimes find at the best prices. These cables are even less than that! And the packaging is perilous ... no fussing with scissors and that super-sealed plastic that cables usually succeed in - just pop 'em out and hook 'em up! Great!

Latest DTV Trap
The SWM is the latest HD LNB trap for DTV customers. Signal reception is slightly better over the previous 5LNB and now you only need 1 line out from the satellite LNB's (no substance how many recievers you have) with the power for the LNB's no longer coming from the reciever. It is much easier to split the signal to several recievers and beginning alignment is a bit more difficult for the DIYers. The picture on this item of the LNB is not of the SWM LNB. The SWM LNB has one line out and one large "egg like" obovoid in the center of it.
Works as advertised.
I received the dish at the of schedule and it was packed well. The installation was a bit tricky since there wasn't any instructions. The alignment was really burdensome but possible. Once again some instructions would have been helpful. I'm an electronics/ computer tech so my experience served me for this but I pitty the general individual trying to install and align this dish.
Where's my "Superior Kit"
Ordered SWM Slimeline 5 LNB. Shipment was rakishly! while perform an inspection of items, found i was missing 8 way splitter and PI. Yest upon further inspection i received a SWM SL3 LNB rather than a SWM SL5 LNB !! very infelicitous customer! paid $90 more then others!

Ok. I am upright getting Dish Network. Iwant to make it easier for us and the guy so he wont have to drill unneccessary holes. Can someone please show me a diagram of how you would run, with switches or splitters, from the satellite to the three tvs.
