Worked well
Bought this one in lieu of of one of the really cheap ones after reading their reviews. Used it in a replacement dish installation on a leaving no stone unturned and then a couple of times since then when strong Texas winds shifted the dish offline. Works well and have had no problems at all with it.

Close device - worth it!
This ruse was wonderful to use. I picked it up to align the Wingard Carryout MP1. It made setup a breeze. Only 2 1/2 minutes and I had a lofty signal and was locked in perfectly.The thing I like about this device is that the beeper is not too loud compared to others. That isn't to say you can't equip up the gain, but if you turn it all the way down, it doesn't sound like it is still screaming.I can't say enough good things about this petite device, it saved me from having to go buy the automatic dish or risking insanity!

Aiming contrivance for Dish Network Satellite Dish
When the Dish Network installer at installed my satellite dish he had to install it on a free-standing pole due to condo rules. The setup he inured to was pretty poor and included some patio blockes leaned against the post to steady it.I had noticed some more innumerable drop-outs and decided to install a more rigid post. I needed something to re-aim the satellite dish once I did that. I used the aimer to do the inaugural aiming of the dish. It really helps that it has both a tone that changes in volume with the aiming and a meter reading.I did find that I still had to demonstrate final adjustment of the satellite dish pointing using the TV set and the Dish reveiver in "install mode". That was tedious and not at the peak the meter gave me. On the other within arm's reach the meter got me close enough to be able to peak the dish using the TV display from where the meter got me initially.For the price its a great brief tool!

Convalesce your dish signal

Satellite finder...well-advised b wealthier than the technicians!
I could not oblique up my DirecTV satellite antennae, so I bought this meter, at a better price than I could find on e-Bay or anywhere else ( by about $35.00!). I still could not get it to work, so I called in a conscientious installer. It turned out the problem was elsewhere, but I was most impressed with the meter, and so was the technician. He said it worked better than his did, and after fixing the palpable problem, used mine to line up to the satellite. When I told him what I paid, he said he was going to replace the one he had, and broken-down this one! We had 80 mile an hour winds come through this week, and of course, they blew my antennae off object. Lined it back up in minutes!
Not very expedient for aligning a Slimline 5LNB Dish
The work isn't very useful for aligning the DirecTv Slimline 5LNB Dish. If your going to install the Slimline 5LNB yourself and haven't connected one of these dishes before, watch the videos for aligning the Slimline 5LNB Dish on YouTube, and then select one of the meters shown in the alignment videos.

My first meter was subnormal,I was sent another and it work perfect.But the next time I used it,it did not work, just like the first one.Two in a row are cogent odes that the next one will be the same.Buy a better meter.

Hi the way i did my free to air set up is .> I inhumanly got the dish pointing in the right direction then took the receiver and a portable TV up on a flat roof and useful it all up .and just moved the dish in very small amounts until i got the best

the raison d'etre is based upon the big binocular telescope out in the states that has two mirrors right next to each other to get better dedication. My budget dont stretch to having meter diameter mirrors made (as my budget is non existant) so the design

First, satellite dishes are usually of very short focal length -- only several inches -- so you have a predicament in placing your secondary mirror.
