unsure if it is true
I bought this set after Christmas. The value was better than any of the stores I checked. Everything arrived in great condition in a Royal Doulton box. My mom just gave me all of her OCR china. I heed that the roses, especially the yellow ones, on the china that I bought from Amazon are not nearly as minute as the roses on her china. The roses on my mom's china are smooth and the roses on the new china have a printed dot consistency to them. Also the gold trim on my mom's dishes is much larger than the trim on the new ones. I am unsure if the china that I bought from Amazon is actual. I will not buy china here again.

Royal Albert Dinnerware
I am very contented with the Royal Albert Dinnerware. Amazon's price is very good, much better than the derpartment stores and the quality is very good also.
Cracked Dishes
Plant packaging or Amazon caused some items to be delivered broken. We've been back and forth with Amazon three times and still don't have it sorted out yet.

This analogous 3-piece tea set from Royal Albert beautifully complements the entire line of Old Country Roses tableware pieces. The classically shaped 6-cup teapot, 10-ounce sugar spin, and 8-ounce creamer, each are regally edged with a hand-trimmed border of 22-carat gold ingots. With matching rounded bowls and ornately fashioned handles and spouts, each piece in the set also stands upon a meagre footed base. The crisp whiteness of the bone china gracefully showcases the illustrative pink and golden yellow country roses as they cascade down the side of each vessel. Set on a bed of greenery, the weak flowers resemble those growing in a classic English garden.
The 6-cup teapot stands 8 inches drunk and measures 10-1/2 inches from handle to spout, the 10-ounce sugar trundle stands 4-1/2 inches high and measures 5-1/2 inches from handle to wield, and the 8-ounce creamer stands 4-1/2 inches high and measures 4-3/4 inches from run to spout. Decidedly recommended
I bought this on the whole because I figured I could not go wrong at the price it was offered at. Amazon is selling this set for far cheaper than anyone else online. I was categorically very pleased when this product arrived today. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my Mother and she is prospering to be blown away. The tea pot is large, not overly, but it is certainly not a dainty piece. The cream and sugar pieces are engaging. Very high quality detailing, the gold is not gawdy. Comes very very well packaged. I am glad I bought some other pieces to match up on a whim, hoping that the tea set would be beautiful. I received the matching tea cups and coffee pot. Also beautiful though the coffee pot did not go in its own packing box (it did arrive intact). If you are looking for a lovely piece of china that is proud to advertise but usable for company, I highly recommend this set.

Not from England
I bought a set recently and unfortunatley it is made in china. We have some older ones and they are much new

The wrest same set is available from Dillards here in Tulsa and the price is over $200 just for the teapot. I bought it for my old woman who has been wanting it since the 80's. I gave it to her for Christmas and she cried. It's got the original 1962 Royal Albert stamp on each broken. Comes brand new in royal albert boxes. It is the fine style of China not the version that is machine made in China. I bought her some of that too. She noticed the dissimilitude right away. The other items do not have the 1962 stamp and are pretty, but not the same. The tea set was a hit. We love it.

The set includes a high-sided 6-1/4-inch roll for serving rice cereal and pureed vegetables and fruits and a double-handled mug for wring or juice. Significant useable keepsake!
I have 6 grandkids & each one has received the bunnykins move & cup when they were born.They are still used by my 5, 6, & 7 yr olds. The shape of the inside of bowl is shaped to make a big deal of the food easier to "scoop" onto the spoonPlease don't be afraid to use everyday, trust me, they are very sturdy.When my oldest was born (39 years old now) he received s pan & I gave it back to him when he had his first born.She loves it!

Royal Albert Old Country Roses 2 Cup Teapot Tea Pot New £72.00 ...
Up until the mid 1990’s all Royal Albert dinnerware was manufactured in England and the little talk “England” was prominently displayed in the back quell (the printed words on the bottom of each morsel) of the Royal Albert peachy china patterns. In the mid 1990’s Royal Doulton, the stepfather South African private limited company at the experience, started affecting its manufacturing services from England to Indonesia and China and removed the discussion “England” from the back signet-ring. Most of the dinnerware items are being produced in Indonesia with a few pieces being produced in China. The Royal Albert giftware items on the other disposal are predominantly being produced in China with a few pieces being produced in Indonesia....
