Paula Deen Signature Porcelain 12-Piece Cookware Set, Butter
Details
DescriptionShowy speckled porcelain exterior is durable, stain resistant and a breeze to clean.Customer ReviewsAdroitPreference the new Paula Dean cookware. From appearance to ease of clean up ,everything is great.Especially like the handles ,which stopover cool during cooking.Everything seems to cook a little faster in these pots and pans , so a little walk-on attention is required at first.Clean up is a breeze.I would recommend these to anyone and the price was right ,too I Like Them I Loved the feel embarrassed of the pans. I love that they all had lids. The only reason I did not give these pans a 5 star is because I do not know what happened to my milieu sized pot, but it bent, my lid does not fit on it now, I didn't drop the pan, It was fine when I first cooked with it, my second use of the element I noticed it was bent, maybe it was during my cleaning, but it is very sad because now the lid does not fit on correctly. It would also be awesome if there was a lid for the smaller fodder pan. Other than that, I love this set! But I did notice it was alot cheaper at Wal-Mart after I purchased them online, and that was also disappointing, and I dismal almost $30 cheaper. But the set, I like it alot. Passion THE PANS It's been 6 months and I Passion LOVE LOVE these pans. I read reviews that they can't handle the dishwasher and I can't say if they do since I hand credible all my pans and plastic. I also read reviews that the color wipes off even when had washed but I wanted the flush so much I took the risk and the color has lasted easily. In fact one time I need to use fleecy scrub on the outside of the pan from an over flow that cooked on and I was careful at first but quickly realized the color doesn't discover as easily as some reviews I read. The non stick has lasted too but I do put a cloth between the pans so when stacked the metal doesn't abuse the non-stick. They're a joy to cook in.
Paula Deen 1 Quart Porcelain Open Saucepan with Spouts, Red
Details
DescriptionPouring through old shops with my Aunt Peggy is one of my most cherished memories. This line was inspired by the many treasures she and I found on our adventures. My hankering is that they are as fun to collect for you as they were for me.Customer ReviewsTerrific Scant Pan!My first Paula Deen but sanguinely not my last. This terrific little pan is used nearly every day. The pouring spouts are most useful when heating soup or disrespectfulness. The nonstick surface appears very sturdy. I very much appreciate the porcelain coating. Besides being attractive it is so tranquilly to clean. My range is gas and I was a bit wary of what the flame would do to the pan bottom. It has not turned color or stained in any way. Time will reprimand, but I think this line will be a star in my kitchen. My favorite pot (of any weight) I bought this pot on impulse b/c I taste the color and b/c I thought I could really use a smaller, non-stick sauce pot. I was so right! I use this little pot several times a week, commonly for making small amounts of sauce or gravies but also for boiling milk, water, etc. Unprejudiced yesterday I made three healthy helpings of hot cocoa in it.Its size makes me mindful of getting too much running (for pasta or gravy, for example). It makes enough cheese sauce for four servings of homemade mac & cheese (or for a whole heck of a lot of broccoli) and nothing sticks to it. I fair let whatever it is cool and it stiffens and I just pull it right out of the pot. Since I've never had to scrub it, the non-stick surface is like new. I infrequently need to put it in the dishwasher; a light once-around with a soapy cloth takes care of the residue. It's recondite but not too heavy, remarkably durable and an excellent value. Since purchasing it, I've bought more cookware in the same line and it's... as worth as they look This pastry-cook ware does all it is advertised to do. It is so pretty that I don't like hiding it int the cupboard, and am in the process of hanging some of the pieces.

The handles are securely fastened. The pans are just the right weight....not too heavy and not too light. The stay diminish handles are terrific. The non-stick surface is awesome...the food slides right off. The see-through lids are Cyclopean so you can keep an eye on whats cooking. It has the look and feel of expensive cookware but is very reasonably priced. The only thing that I didnt distinguish before I purchased this item was that it is not recomended to cook on high with a glass top stove. I guess the enamel can consolidate to the cook top. I have a glass top stove and at first I was concerned. I cook with this cookware set on Medium High instead of elevated. I have not had a problem at all. In fact, I used to burn meals in my old cookware but now that I dont use high heat to pastry-cook with I have not burned a single meal! If you are looking for great cookware with outstanding quality then I highly... Go red comes off in water! I was in reality excited to buy these, loved the color and loved the silicone handles. Unfortunately I have discovered the porcelain enamel rubs in all honesty off, even with just plain old water.I noticed the first week I bought the set that the most of the pans already had minor smudges revealing the metal of the pan under the green paint. Then one day I was toweling off a pan I HAND WASHED and noticed the green enamel rubbed off all over the towel. I really washed the pans with warm soapy water, nothing harsh.I am extremely dissappointed with the superiority of these pans. It is a great design but they are evidently made with very cheap workmanship. Superior, Affordable Cookware! I have the melancholy set. This cookware is very affordable for what you get and so nice to use. I love the rubber handles that are angled upward and the see-through lids. My only grouse is that this set is not dishwasher safe. If you run these through the dishwasher, the color will fade. I have not done this because the paperwork included said not to do so, but I have heard complaints of the go red fading after cleaning in a dishwasher. This is an excellent beginner cookware set! |
