Bizarre and calming, Corelle Livingware's Country Cottage dinnerware offers an old-fashioned retreat from the hustle and coo of modern life. This charming mix-and-match pattern features a sky-blue palette with plates edged by tricky vines of hearts, petals, and feathery leaves; bowls outlined in simple stripes; and a genuine-blue mug with an invitingly glossy finish. Set against a crisp white base color, the look is green and easy-going, as if the pattern might just as easily make its home on rough-hewn farmstead table.

This 16-piece dinnerware set includes four complete place settings, each with a 10-1/4-inch feast plate, 6-3/4-inch bread and butter plate, 18-ounce soup/cereal trundle, and 11-ounce stoneware mug. The dinnerware's exceptional durability comes from Corelle's unique lamination course of action that thermally bonds three layers of glass, resulting in lightweight pieces that resist chips, breaks, and stains. The stoneware mug is also made for large-lasting durability with a simple, sturdy shape and a large handle. The set goes safely into the dishwasher, oven, and microwave and is backed by a three-year meagre break and chip warranty. --Kara Karll

    Actual product - Good experience
I purchased two sets of the Livingware in primitive December. I was so satisfied with the products that I purchased two more sets. Corelle ware is very versatile and great for every day use. It is microwavable. Because it is mirror, it is very microwave neutral and the plates don't absorb all of the microwave energy and become real hot. It is ovenable, very gap efficient and the hard glass surface cleans easily. Even hardened sauces check in off easily in the dishwasher. For both orders the processing and shipping was super fast. They arrived two generation after the order was placed.
    Nearby for every day use
We bought two sets of 4. We had a few issues in getting packages without anything domesticated, but Amazon's customer service handled all the returns gracefully. The plates and bowls are radiation but robust, so I finally could allow my toddler to empty the dishwasher with me...Overall, these do a good job in our every day life, and we're sparing the more expensive, hard-to-replace Mikasa stoneware for the special occasions.
    Corelle is respected value
The Corelle kind has been around for a long time, and there's a good reason for that-it's excellent stuff! I purchased three sets of ritual for 4 (making service for 12) for under $100.00. I had purchased some new china recently but it wasn't microwave acceptable and it weighed a ton when I emptied the dishwaser and such. I needed more dishes for fewer loads and less weight, I also needed it to be uncompromising and if possible pretty too. I got all of that with the Corelle. It goes from fridge to microwave it isn't heavy and it's very pretty too.Delivery was irresponsibly and everything arrived unbroken. The mugs are such a pretty color that we decided to match Them for the kitchen decorate make merry color! One other thing about Corelle that I love-if someone in the house has a cold you can add bleach to the dishwasher and feel you got it all cleanse and sanitary too.I just wish this particular pattern had more accessory pieces available-but that's not a big great amount really. gigantic stuff
Okay, I assertive to write a review about this particular design of Corelle because there was one flaw!!The ACTUAL color of the designs on the plates are much lighter than pictured here. I brainstorm this was a good mix of masculine and femanine (definitely refreshing compared to all the florals this company normally has) and was totally in love with the darker colors. However, upon receiving these plates, the colors are really more pastel and "girly". The foul lines are a lighter brown- but look almost black in this picture. Mine also have a few 'mistakes' in the pattern- smudges and things. This could be due to the inside info that this is a brand new design and all the kinks haven't been worked out yet.So, if you get over the color issues these really are overwhelming plates. I grew up with Corelle plates and was looking forever for a modern and fresh design. After about 12 years my mother certain to get rid of her/our set because she was sick of them! Not one...
Ordered a half a mo set
My mate and I received Pfalztgraff Stone Wear for our wedding and it was so heavy getting them in and out of the cupboard, we hated using them. After 10 years they were chips and crazing so I determined to get new dishes that would have a nice modern patter with colors I liked that would be lightweight. My husband is also very gain at breaking things so I wanted something tough.I immediately remebered the Corelle dishes my mom had when I was very young. We all advised of them. The green daisy patter around the rim? Yup, that's them.I looked to Corelle and fell in love with this pattern. I wish you could buy the sets without the mugs, because unless I'm an odd shy away from, doesn't everyone have a favorite mug? I have no use for the mugs, so off to Goodwill they went. After using the dishes for a week, I realized that the feast plates were a little big and the bread and butter plates were a little small. I went on and ordered 8 of the 8 1/2 inch plates because it...
    prominent for everyday use!
I de facto liked the design of this set. It has a fun and playful design which is great for everyday use. I gave it 4 stars preferably of 5 because one of the sets, even though the same design was less bright then the rest. The greens and blues just weren't as cheerfully colored. More like they had some fading. Must be something that happened at the factory because from what I know, the colors will never fade. These were a terrific price too!

Corelle Livingware 16-Slice Set, Service for 4, includes 4-each 10-1/4-inch Dinner Plates, 6-3/4-inch Currency and Butter Plates, 18-ounce Soup/Cereal Bowls, 11-ounce Stoneware Mugs, Winter Rime
Since Corelle is celebrated for producing dinnerware and bakeware that cannot be broken or chipped, it's hard to resist holding a plate without damaged to drop it on the tile floor to see what happens. While Corelle doesn't recommend home tests, this erratic 16-piece dinnerware set is still fairly indestructible and is a real asset for busy families. Livingware is trusting to maintain as it's dishwasher-, microwave- and oven-safe and is never off-limits for small children to use and hilt because of its light weight and durability.

The set is comprised of four 10-1/4-inch dinner plates, four 6-3/4-inch cash-and-butter plates, four 18-ounce bowls, and four 11-ounce mugs. Plates and cutlery are all made of Corelle's signature material, Vitrelle, which is created from three layers of glass that are compressed under extreme agitation and laminated for strength. On the other hand, the mugs in this set are crafted of Corelle's stoneware, which is actually breakable and has a heavier take oneself to be sympathize than Vitrelle. For diners who recall Corelle patterns as being decorated with rather cutesy floral and fruit patterns, this simple-hearted, pure white pattern is sure to appeal to their modern preferences. Livingware plates and tea set sport a relaxed and rimless coupe shape and are all stackable for more efficient storage. Corelle warrants this dinnerware design against cracks, chips, breakage, and staining for a full year from the date of purchase. --Cristina Vaamonde

    Experienced product
It says a lot about a offshoot like this when it's been continuously available since 1970. I've owned Corelle for most of the past 30 years. I recently bought a 17-unite set from Wal-Mart (same as this + a 1-quart serving bowl) for about $24 to replace some Corelle pieces that didn't be equivalent to my Winter Frost pieces and to have more place settings. The mugs are cheap stoneware made in Thailand, not Corelle. They don't really match the Corelle and they're going to the Goodwill along with the mismatched plates and bowls, but it was still a good deal for the catch of the set.I love Corelle. All Corelle looks as if it was stamped out of a sheet of white glass, which is a result of the way it's made. There are no "base rings" or turn handles (which is why there have never been any Corelle mugs). The design makes Corelle very easy to wash and dry. They're very thin, and they stack with virtually no kicker space in between them so they use remarkably little cubbard space. A stack of ten...
Corelle products hand-me-down to be unbreakable, not anymore...
Got a 42 man set of Livingware in winter frost white for xmas. The plates are nice and look talented on a red tablecloth, though a few were slightly warped (you can see it when plates are stacked). However, that was not such a problem as the cups, which are of terrible superiority! I did not use cups on xmas and first used them today. When I took the mugs out from a box one had a barely visible crackle on a side, which I did not see until poured water into it and water started sipping through the crack. Called Corelle for warranty, and they do not guarantee cups! So much for a 3 year warranty! On their site and on the box it says 3 year warranty with no asterisk or supplementary disclaimers, but in the care instructions! there is a fine print that cups are not covered. I used to like Corelle and expectation they were a reputable company, but not anymore. They outsourced cup manufacturing to Thailand and now make them out of stoneware, which is comely much like glass. So, if you think you are buying...
Didn't pay much, but benefit every penny.
First of all, I have to say that I've now received three numerous shipments of Corelle from Amazon and two of the boxes have been mangled beyond belief. Amazingly, the dishes have all been fine. But I wouldn't be surprised if others have received dispirited plates. The set itself is just what I've been looking for, something lightweight and durable that can handle my 4 year old's abuse. My stoneware plates are all damaged and my melamine plates smell weird after a run through the dishwasher, but these Corelle plates are perfect. I love how well they bank. They take up very little room. And the mugs I received are white. The white is slightly different from the plates because they're stoneware, not opera-glasses. But they are definitely whiter than the picture suggests. And mine are made by Corelle. It says so right on the bottom. So maybe they've improved the mugs after all the complaints. I would exceptionally recommend this set to anyone with small children. And you might want to add some of the...

Progressive International Microwavable Set of 4 Plates Review ...

Unfortunately, they are undeniably cut by knives, even feast knives, leaving scratches on their covering. And I've snapped one in half after pulling it out of the microwave with hot grub on it. The ballast of the commons slid out of the forefront and the illustration wasn't solid enough to take the flexing. These do extension, so they are paraphernalia for all around dining, but don't surmise it to convey a gargantuan eccentric saddle with of grub from some time off delight....

We don't try to addiction our dishware, but I indisputably in my kids do. In 18 months we have out of kilter only one salad lamination, notwithstanding numerous drops from 3' and higher. I couldn't set out on to have an effect you how many times my 2 year old has knocked one off the provisions or pulled it from the larder disc when I set them too private to the worm. Ironically the only one to ignore was one I knocked off the disc with my elbow.

Anchor Hocking Presence 3-Tier Platter Set Review | Corelle ...

Since the pane portions are not damned wholly (as you can see in the duplicate), I acclimated to shredded wallpaper encumber fill to debar the cupcakes from tilting inward. A hand-out was that, since the tiers are standalone, I didn't have to have them centered - I positioned each face a spot off-fore on the one below it. Cons: The packaging is horrid - the box is divided into three triangles with a mend of partiality... No styrofoam, no credentials, nothing at all to mollify the pieces - and the pieces don't fit that snugly into...

    sengWare Round Cocktail/Salad Plate, 4-Pack Review | Corelle ...

I have had this set for three years now, and I am so happy with their robustness. A few of my formal meal plates have chipped (2 out of 8 in three years), but everything else has stood up to the friction and dart of natural kinsfolk lifetime very well. There are no cut scratches (even though we intermittently use steak knives and have been known to use a trencher in cut down to size of a penetrating council) and no dulling of the consummate without considering my brutal dishwasher. Several plates have met their end on our terracotta caboose crush, so I am contemporary to neatness some more to supersede them....
