Huge brand, well made, sturdy, and easy to use
I've had this convection oven for a while now and second-hand it for many types of things. I wanted something that, because I cook for just myself quite a bit, I could use for baking, broiling, etc, without cranking up the big oven. The microwave is abundant, but it's not the best choice for many things. Anyway, this convection oven is fitting the bill very well.The unit is attractive and I find the size to be perfect. Not only does it go well on one of my cookhouse counters, but the inside is a great size too. As they say, it will easily fit a 13x9" baking pan. It comes with a lightweight, nonstick pan that is about 9x10" that is very available. Do know, however, that it IS a lightweight pan and will warp up on diagonally opposite sides during baking. It does go back rooms afterward, but it is noteworthy. Since this pan is, by far, not that integral part of the unit I didn't find this to be a deal breaker. I have plenty of other pans to use. I have tolerant of the included pan many...

this is an very credulous oven to use!! It does everything it supposed to and cooking it a breeze!! a lot of options that makes it even easier to cook with.

OH SO Kind!!
I've only had the oven a youthful while, but so far I love it. Gets up to temp quickly, runs very quietly even on convection. The shade selector and timer seem to vocation perfectly. Everything I've cooked in it so far has turned out really well. I am glad I purchased this product

Pang, regret, regret
I had very important hopes for this oven. It has the Calphalon name on it. Their PR write up sounds so promising. The warranty is good. The oven is handsome. Too bad it fails as an oven though. I tested this oven backwards upon receipt. I knew I had to make sure this was a keeper given the price. Save your filthy rich and buy a $60 toaster oven. It is important to share that I never use a 'big' oven. Normal ovens pull 3500 watts. They outlay a fortune and the overwhelming majority of people don't need such a cavernous appliance. So I bake a lot and everything in countertop ovens. This oven suffers from bad aim flaws. You can only use the middle rack position or you will burn the top or bottom of your food. There is almost no internal clearance for anything but the shallowest casserole dish. If you use the misery in the inverted position facing downwards (it has a 'dip' design to - not flat) and pull the rack out to safely undo the dish, the dish slides at a fast clip right out...
Groceries temperatures
The component looks great, and as long as you keep an oven thermometer in there while you are cooking, it will serve you well. For the Calphalon name and price of the unit, the thermostat should be superiority calibrated.I have found that the unit depending on its mood will be anywhere from 25 to 50 degrees off. For example to pastry-cook at 350 you must set it to around 375 or 400.I would not recommend this to anyone who wants to bake fine deserts.This is not a char unit test. I thought the first one I had was bad, so I returned it. The second one works the same way.Hope this helps.
Out of pocket design - doesn't heat evenly - don't purchase
The actually who wrote the 'gadgets' review is exactly right - I won't re-write what was written but the Calphalon name is on this product and it's penniless...at best. Doesn't heat evenly, have to rotate the pans - not much fits - if you have yeast rolls that hill, they'll hit the top burner and burn as mine did, the pan falls out onto your lap and on and on it goes. Poor design, wish I hadn't purchased -- but I trusted the Calphalon name.
