    Description

    All-mean pan. Use it for searing, browning and sauteing vegetables and meats as well as making the classic Spanish dish, paella. The two circle handles make for easier lifting, and the heavyweight, domed stainless steel lid prevents the moisture from evasion and allows heat to easily circulate.     Amity this pan in everyway but it's size
    I bought this at [a state store]. I love this pan. Tough, durable, nice heavy (without being too heavy) weight,masterful to take oven to stove to fridge without warping unlike some other cheap pans I have. Cleaning is a breeze. This absolutely WOULD be my everyday pan except for the fact that it's a little smaller in size to be truly an everyday pan and I'm only cooking for 2 population. Fork over the money and pay a little more to get the 12 inch pan. That will be much more practical.
    IT DON'T GET NO Bigger THAN THIS, BUBBA!
    Got this minute Calphalon pan about two months ago because of its price. Have been impressed with it ever since! Heats fast and evenly. Can cook on much lower temps than I do with my commercial stainless stiletto cookware. This "three-layer" nonstick coating IS FAR SUPERIOR TO CALPHALON'S TWO-LAYER NONSTICK Cast-off ON SOME OF ITS OTHER PRODUCT LINES! Downside: a) Thought it would be made in Toledo, OH, as are other Calphalon Commercial pans, but was made in China; b) Is on the smallish side and its rounded sides select spillage and overflow a problem if you fill it much more than half-capacity with something that requires stirring--don't expect to pastry-cook servings for more than two or three in it; c) Lid and handles do get hot, so have to be careful. But overall, given its price and quality--not to mention its pleasing aesthetics--it is a "must have" pan for every scullery! (Curiously, despite Calphalon describing this pan as its "commercial" line, the lifetime...

    This was my sponsor Calphalon purchase and the first non-stick. I'm not a big fan of non-stick, but this is great. Use it almost everyday. We have a Vegetarian Communist in our house and sometimes it is essential to cook the same thing in two different pans...this comes in really handy when I want to authorization something cooking while I concentrate on real food. Never had anything stick to this or burn, looks great too, have as a matter of fact brought it to the table and served from it. Makes a great frittata, but be careful if you use it in the oven, not for use under the broiler. The handles get VERY hot. I knew that when I bought it, but reasonable last night I picked it up without a pot holder and have the blisters to prove it. I can't believe I went all these years groceries without Calphalon, it's the best.     When outside grilling isn't an option
    I'm an alfresco grill cook -- big time. I got the Calphalon Grill Pan as a birthday present, and I must admit I wasn't too enthused. Why would you requirement to pretend to grill indoors, right?Well, a nice steak and a rainy day gave me the chance to try my pan. I cooked the steak over medium heat on an electric range, and the results were fantastic. I ate the tenderest steak I've ever safe to eat on a stovetop, rivaling the tenderness I get from the grill. Sure, you can't mimic the flavor of cooking on an open-air grill, but the look (grill marks) and tenderness were identical. I got a slightly sauteed soup because I had a trace of butter and oil in the pan -- enough to make a thin layer coating the bottom. The taste was definitely singular from an outdoor grill, but regardless the meat tasted excellent. I seasoned it just like I would for the grill before fare.Being a natural skeptic, but enthused by the results with the steak, I decided to try the pan...
    Wonderful grill pan, effortless to use, easy to clean!
    I purchased this along with the and honey it! The "nonstick sear" surface used on this grill pan does just what it says, giving due enough grip to hold meat in place while still releasing easily when flipping the meat or removing it from the pan.I will aver that I have not used this pan anywhere near as much as the griddle, but that is simply because we do not grill a lot of meats on the stove. I have done several steaks, however, and they came out racy and delicious. I'm usually a picky eater and never eat the fat on a steak, but this pan cooked a ribeye so well...
    Low-importance Calphalon
    This pan heats unevenly to the call where it simultaneously burns and undercooks food. We have not had this problem with our older Calphalon or All-Clad pans. The uneven inflame distribution is undoubtedly related to the thickness of the aluminum. The bottom of the pan is 3.9mm thick. Our older Calphalon pans are 5.5mm thick--40% thicker! Indeed the pans seem to be lightweight and cheap, similar to non-stick pans you buy at the local supermarket. I suggest you evade this pan and either buy a cheaper item of similar quality or hunt for better quality.This pan also has not done a great job at striping sustenance.

    Gigantic Price - Attractive Design - Slightly Heavy
    I have upgraded my rating after using the pan every day for a month. I am giving it five stars because it is a tremendous value. I was too judgemental in my initial review.This is my first Calphalon pan. I purchased it primarily to use as an egg and breakfast fare pan. I wanted a good non-scruple at pan, because most of my other pans are stainless steel. I consider it a very good buy for the price. It has a very attractive design and the inland non-stick cooking surface appears to be very durable. However, the pan is slightly heavy and slow to reach the suitable temperature compared to stainless steel. The manufacturer's enclosed brochure says the perceptible warm-up is due to the non-stick surface (true of most non-stick pans). Once it arrives at the required temperature, it performs very well. This aluminum pan is the close of a permanently seasoned cast iron griddle. It produces foolproof omelets and the viands never sticks. I use it to warmup chicken breasts and make grilled...
    A loving terrible little gem for the kitchen, at a great price!
    I picked up this Commercial Nonstick skillet along with several other pieces of Calphalon's liberal stock collection, and I have been impressed with every piece I've gotten. This is great for burgers as well as omeletes and pancakes. About the only "difficulty" with it is that I'm not accustomed quite yet to the high quality found in Calphalon, and I didn't expect the burgers to suntanned on a non-stick surface as quickly as they did, so I wound up with two rather rare burgers as a result of fearing that I would long them. Now that I see how Calphalon's nonstick line cooks, I have had more success, and now I have beautifully cooked hamburgers every time.This is nonstick, so you do have to freebie behaviour towards it with kid gloves, but as long as you use nylon or wooden utensils, do not overheat the pan, and don't run it through the dishwasher, this pan should last you a lifetime. I'm so tickled I bought this, because I know that Calphalon's line of Collector's Edition products are only...
