    First-rate value - watch for price fluctuations
    I got this set for what I reflect on a steal. The price has been fluctuating a bit, and if you hit it at the right time you can get them for an outstanding price. Just like all the other inescapable annodized cookware I have bought from amazon, I LOVE these pans! I have now converted nearly all of my cookware to this line, and authoritatively reccommend it to anyone who wants to become a better cook. If you read other reviews, people complain about sticking. YES, sustenance does adhere to the pans while cooking, but when it is done, the food releases from the surface. If you burn the sustenance, do like Emeril says, and use the knobs on your stove. It does take some time and patience to rid yourself of the habits of teflon pans, but the scoff is so much tastier - I have never made better gravy in my life than since I switched cookware. This is a great starter set, and has most of the pans that you'll call for. I would say that the average cook could get around 75% of their cooking done with this set. Have...
    First-rate deal, great pots/pans!
    First, I would like to say to mind the price of these after you buy them - the price varies a lot and you might be able to improve your deal with a refund. Anyway, these are great! They manners heat much better than any other pot/pan I have used. There is some adjustment if you are used to Teflon - they do stick a bit more. With that said, they don't give you cancer as many now suspect Teflon does, they are oven crypt, and you can use metal utensils. A scotch-brite pad is safe to use (according to manufacturer's instructions) and will renew the pans to their new condition with little effort. There are some other tips for minimizing stick included in the instructions. Appliance washing is not recommended. Also, remember that since the tops for these pans are metal, they may get very hot and require a potholder for extermination. The handles on the pans themselves, however, generally stay cool enough to touch.
    Pinch 'Em While You Can
    This cookware is not produced any more, and this 9 holding set is great for general cooking. This line was replaced with the "Calphalon One" line; I own a pan of this line, and I prefer the older models. This 9 opus set was the foundation of my entire cookware collection. Some I got at closeout, some on E-bay used.Food sticks to the pans until it forms a crust, at which but it releases and you can turn it over. This is quite different from nonstick pans. Also, you have to use a bit less heat. If you want grub to come out before it is cooked on the bottom, get a non-stick pan instead.Cleanup is with water only in general, Comet if some stains are dug in. Cooks should become in with "deglazing" the pans using wine, which always works great. I use this when I have cooked cheese into the pan, or such events.     Wished I had old this sooner...
    I lover my new Calphalon One Infused Anodized Wok! I have been cooking for my family for over 11 years with a non-stick wok and I got tired of having to change woks every 6 months. I persistently use high heat for chinese cooking and the non-stick coating wears off pretty lustfully. So I decided to do some research on which non-stick wok is the most durable in the market but was shocked to learn that non-stick coating or Teflon may be a conceivable carcinogen to humans. So, after extensive research between an All-Clad stainless steel wok and a Calphalon One Infused Anodized wok, I picked the latter one because I still wanted the go through of that non-stick cooking although I know that it won't be 100% non-stick. After purchasing one, I immediately tried to saute some neonate bok choi first. The veggies didn't stick at all! Not only that, they cook so much faster and they taste so much cleaner and sweeter.     Best of All Features
    I have been using this wok almost every day for almost two weeks now and this product has surpassed my expectations in every way. With the right settings (for example, make assured the wok is hot, and coat the interior surface with just a little bit of oil before cooking) you will find this wok a great pleasure to line with. I am able to brown the poultry and still release the meat very easily with just a little jab with a spatular. I also use this wok for stir-frying of vegetables, steaming, making sauces, etc. Note - do not flummox this product with Calphalon's non-stick lines of products, as it is not marketed as a non-stick wok. It is stick-resistant. Therefore you will see a small bit sticking, but that's just fine as you will be able to deglaze very nicely with the remnant bits and pieces radical in the wok. To clean the wok, just fill the interior with some hot water and wipe, it will be ready for the next task in just a few seconds. I have in the know no discoloring...
    Wok works beautiful, but it's expensive
    Viands doesn't stick to it, I don't have to use a lot of oil, it's easy to clean, and I can use metal utensils. Unlike nonstick pans, this wok in actuality gives the food a bit of brown color. This is the first wok I've ever owned, so I can't compare it to other woks, I can only compare it to other nonstick pans.Is it importance the money? I am not sure. It IS quite expensive. But it does a good job, and it forces me to stir fry more often (to get my in's worth!).If you don't stir fry, you should. I can now get an entire meal ready in less than 10 minutes. Yeah, my quarters smells like sesame oil and garlic every time I use my wok.
