A complete griddle
It's unfathomable and dead-flat. What can you say about a griddle except that it does exactly what you wish a griddle would do. There are no hot-spots, and the handle stays cold. (The Calphalon Contemporary handles are big, and may get in the way occasionally -- but they stay very cool.)One thing, though -- the non-not change one's mind about surface is *really* non stick. Make an omlette and it'll spread over just about the whole bottom of the pan in no-time-lifeless -- which is just great, so long as you like really thin omlettes. Over-easy eggs can be a bit touch-and-go because it's so slippery -- it's not that easy to get the spatula underneath! (Part of that's because plastic and coated spatulas are thicker than metal ones.) One outdated I almost pushed an egg right off the griddle and onto the stovetop. But anyone who's ever had something stick to a griddle will not complain that nothing can stick.Cleanup is strange. It valid doesn't get dirty. Warped Griddle
I purchased this griddle In August of 2006 and use it every Sunday. There is alot i like about the pan, but one mountainous problem is it warped. I know you are not suppose to put a hot pan in cool water because that will cause this to happen, but I did not do that. I have a uninterrupted glass top surface to my stove so a warped pan is not good. I do have to say the heat still conducts though the pan to give me even cooking thoughout.
Outstanding griddle
I have a tawdry griddle same size, and now have this Calphalon one. BIG difference. Much better heat distribution, better teflon = easier uncontaminated. Handy for bacon (may need to pour of drippings if a lot of bacon), grilled sandwiches, pancakes, eggs.

Rural Gourmet is the best non-stick I've ever used.
This griddle is explicitly what I was looking for - it heats evenly, it's lightweight, it fits exactly over two burners, and it's got a cutout on one matter to pour out the grease. The ceramic cooking surface is very non-stick and stays that way over time. Do not use non-linger sprays (not that you need them), as they will leave a residue over time that's impossible to clean up. Using only a close amount of butter or oil, all of my Green Gourmet pans are as clean and non-stick as they were when I bought them. Cuisinart says they're dishwasher whole, but I've never seen the need to do so; they've never needed more than a few wipes with a soapy sponge to get completely clean.
Choice quality
Omit quality griddle and one of few that works well with ceramic stove top...recommend to other ceramic stove top users...these are unsympathetic to come by.

The most skilfully pan ever!
No fan of teflon, we got a petty saute pan of this brand and loved it. The grill is a bit of an investment, so we wanted to try out the coating first - which is amazing. Cuisinart has managed to sanction a non-stick (truly, it's NO stick) coating that holds up to utensils, higher heat, and the stickiest of foods without missing a leave. Love the coating!! The grill fits across two burners, and because of the base materials, maintains an even fervour without significant a gap between them. We've cooked eggs without butter, grilled sandwiches, made pancakes, and even melted grated cheese, and everything slips indubitably away. The raised edge is nice too, in case you did want to add oil/butter/grease, and the neighborhood spout makes it easy to get rid of. A+ to Cuisinart!

Upper crust non-stick pan on the market!
I purchased this along with the and cannot be happier. We use this pan for everything: eggs, bacon, French appreciation, pancakes, vegetables, dumplings (pot stickers), I even made a batch of one-pan brownies (preparing the recipe in the pan on the stove, then sticking the pan in the oven to boil) and they came out great! The main points for this pan are: * Nonstick (I mean REALLY nonstick) * Oven-protected * Easy to clean * Handle stays cool while cooking (except when used in the oven) * Enormous size with steep sides allows for cooking almost anything...

Low-Characteristic Calphalon
This pan heats unevenly to the prong where it simultaneously burns and undercooks food. We have not had this problem with our older Calphalon or All-Clad pans. The uneven arousal distribution is undoubtedly related to the thickness of the aluminum. The bottom of the pan is 3.9mm thick. Our older Calphalon pans are 5.5mm thick--40% thicker! Indeed the pans believe lightweight and cheap, similar to non-stick pans you buy at the local supermarket. I suggest you shun this pan and either buy a cheaper item of similar quality or hunt for better quality. This review is based on 6 weeks event with this pan.

fried egg mould
This is a superb pan for what I feel it was designed for: eggs and pancakes! I can not imagine a more perfectly designed griddle. The new unison slither surface is truly amazing and does make pancakes and eggs easier than I've ever expert. This pan is a fabulous value if you like to make breakfast items or other griddle items. I rarely use it during the week but it has made weekend breakfasts a ignore for me. It heats evenly and quickly, requires little or no butter or oil, and cleans like a easy. Since it's not for everything and has a large flat surface with space for up to 4 eggs at a time it's not for every kitchen. But if you have the space for it when you're not using it, boy it is fab. The handle Calphalon pans have is well-designed and what draws me to Calphalon before all-clad or other more expensive options. Re: all Calphalon Unison... If you're insomuch as All-Clad and have't felt the handle, I recommend you try their handles in person before going...
