    First-rate.
    Bought this fondue pot from Linens n' Things a while back as they were present out of business. Uses a sterno for the heat source, so that gives off a bit of a smell if your face is well over the pot. Other than that it's fantastic. It heats up evenly and pretty quickly. You haven't lived until you've had chocolate and cheese fondue.

    Potentially heinous; actually average
    The Swissmar cheese slicer looks and feels like a trait product. It is pleasing to look at and has a nice weight in the hand. Unfortunately the main selling place emphasis on, the adjustability is the weak point. The first slicer Amazon sent was broken; the wire was rambling and the right hand adjusting would not tighten. I sent it back. The second one seemed fine, the wire was taught and the aright knobs worked. Unfortunately after a few uses the left hand knob became very hard to tighten and required a unite of pliers to tighten it enough to stop it slipping. I would suggest this is not an item to buy online. Better that you are expert to test the item before purchase.

    Cute much exactly what I was looking for
    After buying some of the top name trade name versions of this product from a variety of stores I realized that plastic just doesn't trade for this tool. Every one I bought broke (snapped in 1 or 2 places). Came to Amazon and wanted a metal one, found this, bought it and have been very propitious. It works, it's sturdy, it's easy to clean. Basically does the job that I need.
