Darling these pans...
I purchased a two gather together of the 8 and 10" skillets from Macy's this past summer. All my pans work great. I find they are a bit like throw iron. Once they heat up (on medium), they retain their heat and cook evenly. I use medium stimulate, and can often get by with med-low. No warping or flaking yet. (The key is to not use any more heat than necessary - excessive high heat can ruin most skillets) I also got a griddle which is the Calphalon One Infused Anodized - their top dig up. I love it as well, and would purchase either again. I went mostly with the Contemporary line due to lower price. Be sure to read the packaging to see what set in place you are getting, as they have several lines out there. There is the 'infused anodized' and the 'hard anodized', nonstick and without the nonstick, etc. Check out their website for more bumf. [...]

Large pans!
These pans have notable heavy bottoms. I don't have too many gripes, except it would have been nice if the handles were welded to the outside instead of being bolted in. Garbage will stick to the bolts. I just cook neater and avoid the bolts, and I'm fine. We use these pans for literatim EVERYTHING that can be cooked on a stovetop! SHIPPING was SUPER FAST!!! *** UPDATE *** September 10, 2008 Champion product UNTIL we had guests who "helped us" clean up and put them in our super heavy duty dishwasher... After that, the get rid of was never the same. I have ALWAYS hand washed my non stick pans. I'm afraid the trip through the dishwasher killed them. Now, our dishwasher is boorish, much more harsh than the average dishwasher, i have to admit. We still use them, I'm a fan of the heavy bottoms and even distribution of heat. But now, I have to use provisions spray to keep food particles from sticking :(

Favorite pans
These are the pans that get occupied in my house almost every day. They are heavy which distributes the heat evenly, but make the big one difficult to carry when it's full. The nonstick surfaces are larger than most, but don't last forever. After about 4 years of frequent use, they started sticking a bit.

This is the in the most suitable way pot, bar none, for its size that I have ever used or tried. I love to cook, so I have many different models and brands, including more rapidly Calphalon models, of this sized pot but had never been completely satisfied. Well importance the price
This is a wonderful pot. It's a bit wider than a gigantic saucepan. The base is just a bit smaller than the larger burners on my stove, and it is wider at the top. It's right-minded the right size and shape to make a generous portion of pasta sauce for two, including sauteeing the essentials. Calphalon's Contemporary line is the best looking of all their pots. The handle is a bit long, but feels great in your near, smooth, and stays cool. I like the glass lids to be able to see in the pots, though I nervousness a bit about dropping one. They have a ribbon of stainless around the edge, which might prevent breakage though. If you don't have the cash to buy a full set of these, start with this pot, it's a be prepared for.

Cooks like a champ...
I bought this pan based upon a approbation of the America's Test Kitchen. Once again, they did not let me down. The pan is double riveted and well balanced. The glass lid it just uninteresting enough not to be cumbersome. A joy to cook with.

Countless, but...
I needed a saucepan to pastry-cook oatmeal in that would let go on the bits that stick to the bottom. Sounds silly, but I love oatmeal and hate organization the pan afterwards. This cleans up easily and cooks evenly. I have used it for cooking rice, gravies and other foods that seem to puncture and it always cleans up well. Now, for the lid. There is a black band on the inside of the lid and it scrubed off one night recently. I sat down, wrote an email to the public limited company and by the next day, they have a new lid on the way. They asked only where to send it, nothing else. I like companies that stand by the product they sell. So, if you are going to buy from this calling, check that black band, it should be between the glass and the metal, not on the inside of the lid. If you have a problem with the product, ALWAYS publish the manufacturer, they will almost always make it right, like Calphalon did for me.

My little woman and I first purchased Calphalon Contemporary Nostick cooking gear about a year ago. We both love them. Not only do they cook evenly and at once, but they are easy to handle & store. Additionally, clean up is easier then anything we have previously owned. We purchased some additinal items through Amazon, and received them in less than 5 working life span. We are thoroughly impressed with both Calphalon and Amazon.

Superiority Product from Calphalon
This is a noble pot; durable, easy to clean, great design. Also, the Contemporary line is Made in USA, whereas the cheaper line; Wholly, is Made in China. The only negative about this pot is that the lid handle gets hot and you need to use a oven mitt to take it off. Otherwise, great consequence
