    Elevated value - watch for price fluctuations
    I got this set for what I take to be a steal. The price has been fluctuating a bit, and if you hit it at the right time you can get them for an outstanding price. Just like all the other persistently annodized cookware I have bought from amazon, I LOVE these pans! I have now converted nearly all of my cookware to this line, and well reccommend it to anyone who wants to become a better cook. If you read other reviews, people complain about sticking. YES, eatables does adhere to the pans while cooking, but when it is done, the food releases from the surface. If you burn the provisions, do like Emeril says, and use the knobs on your stove. It does take some time and patience to rid yourself of the habits of teflon pans, but the rations is so much tastier - I have never made better gravy in my life than since I switched cookware. This is a great starter set, and has most of the pans that you'll want. I would say that the average cook could get around 75% of their cooking done with this set. Have...
    Devoted deal, great pots/pans!
    First, I would like to say to be careful of the price of these after you buy them - the price varies a lot and you might be able to improve your deal with a refund. Anyway, these are great! They supervision heat much better than any other pot/pan I have used. There is some adjustment if you are used to Teflon - they do stick a bit more. With that said, they don't give you cancer as many now sense Teflon does, they are oven safe, and you can use metal utensils. A scotch-brite pad is true to use (according to manufacturer's instructions) and will restore the pans to their new condition with little effort. There are some other tips for minimizing tape included in the instructions. Machine washing is not recommended. Also, remember that since the tops for these pans are metal, they may get very hot and order a potholder for removal. The handles on the pans themselves, however, generally stay cool enough to touch.
    Snag 'Em While You Can
    This cookware is not produced any more, and this 9 morsel set is great for general cooking. This line was replaced with the "Calphalon One" line; I own a pan of this line, and I prefer the older models. This 9 holding set was the foundation of my entire cookware collection. Some I got at closeout, some on E-bay used.Food sticks to the pans until it forms a crust, at which rhythm it releases and you can turn it over. This is quite different from nonstick pans. Also, you have to use a bit less heat. If you want viands to come out before it is cooked on the bottom, get a non-stick pan instead.Cleanup is with water only in general, Comet if some stains are dug in. Cooks should become insolent with "deglazing" the pans using wine, which always works great. I use this when I have cooked cheese into the pan, or such events.     Must Have for Calphalon Cookware
    If you covet to keep your cookware looking like brand new, you really should use this cleaner. Nothing else I have tried works as well. When you use Dormand cleaner, then highlight the pot in warm water, the water does not stay on the pot and it dries spot free and looks like the day you bought it.
    Planning my pots were ruined until I tried this!
    My cookware was from Costco and against the instructions on the box, I put it in the dishwasher. The outsides of the pots became whitish and hardened. I thought my pots were ruined until I tried this! Wonderful stuff.

    Fast cookware!
    I bought this set for our shore house after using cheap stainless reverware for way too long. What a difference it made in the food I pastry-cook. I knew I didn't want anything with the word 'non-stick' in it, so stainless or hard anodized seemed like my only choices. So well-disposed I went with the HA product! It heats up quickly and evenly and allows a cooler cooking temp while still getting a peculiar sear on the food, plus it looks great on the pot rack. If you use it properly (preheating the pan and adding a bit of oil before the abide temperature food) there is no sticking and clean up is easy peasy. I bought my set at the Calphalon outlet count on nearby and it came with an Everyday Pan and set of utensils as bonus gifts so it was a really good conduct oneself treat in the end. I think the set pieces are really well thought out and I don't feel that there's anything missing. I didn't know I could passion my cookware so much - I want to marry it. Now I'm thinking about purchasing some hard anodized pieces for...
    So joyful that I researched before purchasing
    Many years ago, I purchased a apart Calphalon pan - it was the Commercial Hard-Anodized everyday pan and it really did become my everyday pan. I researched all the makers of cookware from All-Clad to Overlook stores such as Wal-Mart and I kept coming back to this everyday pan so I decided to go with that.This is an amazing set - it is not non-stick..........problem of fact it is made for browning and searing and that is why I LOVE it. One can use metal utensils with it, and cleansers, etc. It is NOT dishwasher safety-deposit box - it is similar to cast iron in that it will get an odd white hue to it and then it will need to be seasoned but just an hour or so of soaking and prog just wipes right out! They are truly amazing.These pans heat evenly, are broad (but not too heavy) and just feel right. You won't go wrong with these and I am very pleased with my purchase.
    Hurried efficient cooking
    I can't say enough for Caphalon. I've owned their products since before they branded themselves as Caphalon. This apparatus heats rapidly and evenly. You actually need to be careful because cook times will be shorter. Boiling happens faster. Pay heed!One of the things I've always enjoyed about this equipment is that you generally don't have the problem of sauces burned to the bottom of the pan while not fully safe to eat at the top. Less stirring is required due to the even heat transfer up the sides of the pots.I also enjoy the new handles on the lids and pots. They stand cool while cooking. They do warm up, but you can remove the lids without using a pot-holder, unless you are fare at very high temps for a long time. The pot handles just stay cool. Loving terrible design.So far the hard-anodized finish is nice and easy enough to clean.
