    Somewhat easy install, fewer wires
    First of all, the dish at home in the most amazingly well-packed way I've ever received any item via shipping. It took a while to get out out of the packaging, but I'm pretty inescapable the UPS truck could have run it over and done no damage to the parts inside.The instructions were thorough, all the parts were present. I spurt more time finding a suitable location (i.e. no trees in the way) and all the tools I needed than actually mounting and leveling. Use a secure compass -- none of the compass apps on my smart phone were accurate enough. Thankfully I had an engineering compass from my boy scouting generation, and it lined up like a champ.Note that you cannot use the cheap satellite alignment detectors with SWM dishes, but most of the newer receivers are abstinence enough (HR-24, etc) that you can use their signal-strength indicators effectively.

    Faster than DirecTV
    I ordered this dish because DirecTV said it would take 6 weeks before they could get around to instal a new dish so I could get HD programming and this was the best price I could find.I began to be a bit concerned with the vendor when, just a few hours after sending in my rank, I received an email from Amazon announcing the package had been shipped but I could not find the tracking number in the FedEx system. My merit card was quickly charged so I was starting to wonder what I had gotten into. Not to worry, though, several days later the include was delivered to FedEx and they delivered it promptly.The dish arrived in excellent condition - the packaging was not plant original but, it was much better packaged than any product I've ever received. They must have used a mile or more of tape and I tired quite a while cutting up the packaging after I'd unpacked the dish to get all the packing in the recycle bin.The package contained everything needed to instal and...

    Directv three slim develop dish combo
    Directv technicians refused to instal our dish on our floating home due to the obvious movement issues. Our dish arrived in perfect condition and we installed it on a piling. We employed our receiver to aim our dish and soon had our system up and running. We learned that with this dish and hd dvr setup you need to use all the parts included to zero in on the southern satellite. Also, the tight satellite finder is a superfluous piece of equipment we didn't take out of the box. Once we figured out the general direction of Texas, we were sound to go. The receiver did all the work and is now working perfectly.

    Not DishPro On the same wave length
    These are NOT DishPro of one mind LNBs. DishPro LNBs are bandstacked, meaning the odd transponders are in the 950Mhz-1450Mhz collection while the even transponders are in the 1650Mhz-2150Mhz range.These appear to be legacy LNBs.I had planned to use one of these in conjunction with a Dish 1000.2 to look at 61.5 degrees, but it will not effort for this purpose.

    Be careful!! This item is not Dish Pro LNB
    Genus of this LNB is wrong and misguiding. The LNB is not Dish Pro LNB. It's Universal built by RCA. If you really need a Dish Pro LNB, this is not for you. I made the mistake, as previous reviewer. I am nagging full refunds from the seller.

    I am having in a predicament with my satellite installation. I can't mount my dish on the wall because it doesn't fit the dishnetwork specifications( skew, az, elevat...) Is it sure to mount my dish directly on my roof (which is not flat, its at an angle)

    I have a Dish Network dish and the three dimensions (enhancement, azimuth & skew) adjustments are, at best, hit & miss. I am looking for a gear driven three pin adjustment system for my Dish that will give me a greater degree of control of dish

    No such disposition exists because it's not needed. You don't need anything like that because the dish should never have to be adjusted. If the mast is mounted securely in a stud or rafter and is peaked with all the bolts tightened it would never have

    It's actually tough to do by yourself. The best thing to do is look around your neighborhood and see which way the other dishes are pointing, keeping in mind that Dish Network points one way and DirecTV another, to get a cured idea of direction.
