Worked well
Bought this one a substitute alternatively of one of the really cheap ones after reading their reviews. Used it in a replacement dish installation on a flagstaff and then a couple of times since then when strong Texas winds shifted the dish offline. Works well and have had no problems at all with it.

Illustrious device - worth it!
This machination was wonderful to use. I picked it up to align the Wingard Carryout MP1. It made setup a breeze. Only 2 1/2 minutes and I had a passionate signal and was locked in perfectly.The thing I like about this device is that the beeper is not too loud compared to others. That isn't to say you can't bring out b develop up the gain, but if you turn it all the way down, it doesn't sound like it is still screaming.I can't say enough good things about this Lilliputian device, it saved me from having to go buy the automatic dish or risking insanity!

Satellite finder...gambler than the technicians!
I could not path up my DirecTV satellite antennae, so I bought this meter, at a better price than I could find on e-Bay or anywhere else ( by about $35.00!). I still could not get it to work, so I called in a prompt installer. It turned out the problem was elsewhere, but I was most impressed with the meter, and so was the technician. He said it worked bettor than his did, and after fixing the real problem, used mine to line up to the satellite. When I told him what I paid, he said he was booming to replace the one he had, and order this one! We had 80 mile an hour winds come through this week, and of lecture, they blew my antennae off target. Lined it back up in minutes!
Not very beneficial for aligning a Slimline 5LNB Dish
The output isn't very useful for aligning the DirecTv Slimline 5LNB Dish. My first meter was retarded,I was sent another and it work perfect.But the next time I used it,it did not work, just like the first one.Two in a row are godly odes that the next one will be the same.Buy a better meter.

Advantage Not Great
It gets the job done, however the integument cover used to protect the LCD display in shipping, when removed, leaves behind a glue like affluence that makes reading the numbers almost impossible and cannot be removed by any of the usual chemicals. With that said, the subdue helps a lot when properly adjusted for sensitivity.

HI all.
I'm in Kent in the south of England.I've exactly spent the afternoon putting up my own satellite dish.The tv is saying that the signal is coming in at 90% and the quality is shifting between 75-78%. Is that ok?The idea's ok so far.
