Satellite finder...healthier than the technicians!
I could not lined up under up my DirecTV satellite antennae, so I bought this meter, at a better price than I could find on e-Bay or anywhere else ( by about $35.00!). I still could not get it to work, so I called in a virtuoso installer. It turned out the problem was elsewhere, but I was most impressed with the meter, and so was the technician. He said it worked raise than his did, and after fixing the real problem, used mine to line up to the satellite. When I told him what I paid, he said he was usual to replace the one he had, and order this one! We had 80 mile an hour winds come through this week, and of orbit, they blew my antennae off target. Lined it back up in minutes!
Not very profitable for aligning a Slimline 5LNB Dish

My first meter was imperfect,I was sent another and it work perfect.But the next time I used it,it did not work, just like the first one.Two in a row are commendable odes that the next one will be the same.Buy a better meter.

Other than tool
We use this for satellite dish solemnization, and we are very please with its quality and durability. It is not like the cheap imported models. This is much more precise and the scale if very unstrained to read. We highly recommend it to all of our dish installers. Urbanized Application
I bought this Oblique Gage so we could roughly set the angle of an actuator in a new industrial machine. We were going to purchase a $250 electronic be after gage but the Johnson Level proved so easy to use and the accuracy was so good that we decided to protect the money. Even the customer for the machine used the Johnson Gage for the Machine Qualification Tests. We will buy several for use on the assay floor as we ramp up production.

For detail (I think)
I have too many protractors in my shop - and I don't call to mind a consider any two exactly agree. As near as I can tell, this product is at least as accurate as any of the others. It's handy to use, though for saw blades I appetite it was a little smaller. It's a good buy, but is one of those devises that's best not dropped.

A must for new DISH recipient DIYers.
Bloody happy with performance, got satellite 129 for HD programming perfectly. It seems that with the new DISH HD receivers, the point dish system only works with 119 and 110 or whatever depending on the sensor system you entered (but not all the satellites). With this, got the azimuth and elevation from the web site in the picture above and then pointed it at that locality and with some minor adjustments got the signal peaking really well. Signal was pretty strong so I hand-me-down an RG-59 cable and set the needle mid-meter and was able to obtain finer adjustment. Performed my obstruction switch, and 129 satellite showed up. It seems that this 129 satellite has a higher elevation than the last one when I performed a check trade 2.5 years ago (I believe dish switched from Echostar V to Ciel 2 for 129). End result, Voila, more HD channels. Surely better than paying for a service call.
Undemanding like 123
it only take a second to find you Satellite signal with this little thing, Highly recommended to all.
