Nong Shim won a ChefsBest Award with this flavorful ramen
If your only ramen wisdom was a dry, tasteless brick dumped into a pot of bowling water that you purchased six for a dollar, then you are in luck. Once you try a Nong Shim noodle bowl you will never go back to Nissin Top Ramen. Nong Shim delivers a flavorful minute noodle meal, balancing seasoning and spice for a perfect lunch on a cold, winter day. The noodle bowl has a palatial, red broth that is visibly loaded with spices. I've recommended Nong Shim to many people but a few, because of the kimchi juiciness, have been hesitant to give it a try. I can attest that Nong Shim's noodles are not as pungent as `fresh' kimchi. THE preferred noodle of the Bering sea task force
Hands down, Nong Shim produces a skilful snack/meal. After working aboard vessels on the Bering for 12 years I've sign in to the conclusion that this little bowl has become the epitome for a meal if you don't have time, want to pass on the food offered in the Galley or tiring to survive during the down time when the catch has run dry and boredom sets in causing the munchies. I've seen lots of combos with this one-Vienna sausages, Spam, Albacore tuna, Sardines, Chilies, Three crabs & Maggi, Peanut lard, cumin and beans... Sodium-yes, it's packed with a wallop of the stuff, but when you're grinding 12 to 16 a day you squander it off pretty fast. For those worrying about MSG then just set the spice pack aside and work the noodles with the condiment of alternative to your liking. The noodles hold up to a hot broth and don't get soft like a lot of the other brands. Prep days is + 2 minutes. Inexpensive, and a good quick meal if you treat it right.
Noteworthy spicy soup!
An asian squeeze of mine introduced me to these several years ago. At the time the only place you could buy them was in an Asian market in NYC. He would go periodically and bring me a state. I would go to NYC and buy them too. Recently Amazon began selling these and I was thrilled. The price is competitive and it is delivered for open! Can't beat it.

Staggering!
If you're an exigent-ramen connoisseur, this is the noodle you've been searching for. Bowl Noodle is far better than any other instant noodle I've had. The broth is cloudy, rich, and immensely flavorful compared to any soup, not ethical other instants, but surprisingly light on the tongue and stomach... much unlike the, heavy, unruffled dollar-a-dozen cardboard noodle. (To emphasize the difference: Top Ramen and Ichiban actually oblige me throw up now, just because they're too bland and... cardboard... -esque... I can tolerate Maruchan if I fill it with my entire spice cabinet.) Bowl Noodle has the same punch as Campbell Hearty when it comes to soup. Two of them fill me perfectly if I'm in desperate hunger. I'll have one for a snack instead of chips because it's a lot quicker and more satisfying. I praise these to all my ramen-eating friends and they love them to death, but they're around 5-10x more expensive than Maruchan. Every penny is merit it, though. To those who buy: you're in for a...

Wonderfully peppery
We like this off colour noodle soup anytime we want a quick lunch, but it is especially nice to have when you have cold or flu symptoms. We say it will "medication anything". At the very least it will clear your sinuses.

Imperative noodles for adult tastes; a rich, spicy broth for a cold day
Was your only savoir faire with ramen noodles as a cheap lunch, either during college or when you were just starting out? Well, you are in for a treat. I on guard you though: once you try a Nong Shim noodle bowl and you will never go back to a Nissin Cup Noodle. Nong Shim offers a fantastic instant noodle bowl; paired the right amount of seasoning and spice to make it a perfect lunch on a cold winter afternoon. Please take a look at the commodity photo I posted that shows the ChefsBest Award and endorsements. I've recommended this noodle bowl to many people but a few of them, because of the kimchi freshness, have been hesitant to give it a try. NOT the same as their other kimchi!!!
i bought these when they stopped having the archetype nong shim kimchi noodles available for subscription. they are NOT the same and htey taste awful!!! there is a wonderful strong fish flavor i do not like. they are nothing like the original kimchi noodle bowls. if you want the yumtastic noodles that are my favorite ramen immediate noodles ever, go here -
My favorite immediate noodles!!
So elongated cup noodles! I've switched to Bowl noodles! As a broke college student, pack of 12 for such a low price is unbelievable! These noodles actually taste good and are better tasting than the cup noodles. From my experience, when it says swarm hot water and leave. I leave it for 5-10 minutes because that makes the noodles more fluffy and pliable, and less raw-tasting. The spicy kimchi flavor is also my favorite!! It's not too spicy, just the right amount!
Very tastey
I'm a remorseful cook, so i am always looking for things that are quick and easy. I really liked these noodles. They were not too starchy or chewy, like some others I have tried. They were a teeny bit spicy, but not too spicy. I don't care for foods that are very spicy, and these were fine for me, so I think most people would not have a incorrigible with them. I will definitely order these and keep them around for when I am in a hurry to fix something.

I went to Japan last summer, and in their user-friendliness stores (sort of like the 7-Eleven here in North America) they had instant bowled udon noodles. They drop absolutely fabulous. I'm wondering if they sell these in Canada. They have bowled kimchi
The backer person is correct, I am a former chef and just happen to have worked in Japan and from those bowls myself, I usually got takoyaki or onigiri at there 7/11 style store, as the other woman said some store have them and the PriceChopper he was
