Put in order little device that works well for obtaining the general direction for dish pointing. Very easy to use. Of route, care in storage seems vital as mine apparently was placed next to my angle finder by someone at home, and it devastated all magnetism, so has been useless since.

Almost stuff and play
Ordered this system and after culture that there was a internal switch in the lnb. I HAD NO PROBLEM GETTING IT TO GO. if you have the VIP211K Just plug into port 1 and set satellite.
Very honourable kit!
This sting works great but I just saw one that has micrometer adjustments on the AZ and EL that look a bit easier to dial in. That said, I have not had any in a delicate condition setting this one up in multiple locations. The meter helps but I find that using two people with one watching the sting meter on the TV works best to dial it in.

Dish Satellite Sensor Kit
Getting my own sensor and receiver (sold separately) was much cheaper than going through Dish. Putting together the antenna was somewhat onerous due to lack of good directions. I was able to figure it out looking at other antennas that were already assembled and in use. Expertly pointing the dish was time consuming but not difficult.

Low Assembly Instructions - Rude Insulting Company
When I received this unstationary satellite dish I couldn't assemble it because ALL of the instructions and illustrations did NOT match the LMBF that came with the kit. I tried to phone Satellite Oasis using the telephone number on the shipping box. When I called it a message said that technological support was only available on line. I e-mailed the owner in an effort to get clarification on which terminal to weld the cable to on the LMBF. After a few days I didn't hear back from the owner so I gave up on getting any sustain. I had to pay a professional satellite installer to show me which terminal to attach the cable to. I complained to the owner about no customer brace and bad assembly instructions. In his response to me, he assaulted my intelligence, told me I should have "Googled" him to get a phone add up they would answer and went on to insult my name. Extensive dish. Great tech support from Dishnet
The dish at home within 4 days. Dishnet had sent me a receiver for free. I ordered the dish and installed everything myself with the assistance of Dishnet. The first convenience life I called, the tech support wasn't all that helpful and the instructions were confusing. But once I got the receiver installed and the skew and enhancement set, I called back and got a different tech support guy. He was awesome. The dish works fine and I got it sooner than expected. Thanks.

I beggary to set the coordinates Azemuth,Elevation and Skew on my Satellite dish. What kind of Compass can I buy that is cheap to do this.
I bought a Coleman LENSATIC COMPASS at K-mart ( try the outdoors camping dept. ), it's a mastery compass because it is in liquid and more stable. I paid around 4-6 dollars
Please if you use Compass , stay away from all metallic objects

A dish for satellite channels, for free to air or otherwise, must be of the appropriate size for the band to be received. A 13" dish is pretty much bootless for this application. It won't have enough gain or focus.
