A reliable-fire delight for everyday holiday use, this set of Snowmen Portrait dinnerware sets a strikingly bold and present-day table. The dinner plates and salad plates form crisp squares, the all-aim cereal/soup bowls take a more softly squared shape, and the plaid-background mugs weaken up and outward from a flat base. Each piece features a different close-up of a snowman clock, complete with carrot nose, square coal eyes, triangular blackbirds perched on snow-milk-white heads, scarves and hats in green and red tints, and falling snowflakes. The kid-friendly mix-and-duel graphics are designed by the artist Fiddlestix.
This 16-piece set allows a family of four to have a bite together. Ravishing winter dinnerware
The Sakura Snowmen Portrayal 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4 greatly exceeded my expectations on quality and whimsy. What fascinating charactersto set such a festive table for the holidays and beyond. The price was phenominal as well. I just might have to order the Santa set next.
Lady-love the dishes!
I definitely love these dishes. They are really cute. The bowls are a little on the small side, but other than that they are great! They are more "wintery" than "Christmasy" so I design to use them through the end of Winter. I just wish there were more matching accessories available.

corelle godly but not great
well we needed new dinnerware and my woman said get corelle since her grandmother has had a set for nearly 20 years, and my mom has had her sets for over 10 years. we were buying regular stoneware prior to this and top grade stoneware at that. but the stoneware just would not hold up in any of our sets for more than around 3 years or so. after thriving through 3 different sets we said lets try corelle. it took us a while to decide on the design she liked that i could material with since i really dont like any of corelle's designs very much. this one was subtle yet gave her the "classy" look she was after.then we went to particular stores to check out corelle, wal-mart, and others had the reg corelle but not the ultra sets. i was very unhappy with how jerry-built the regular corelle was or seemed to be in those sets so we decided we would try the ultra stuff. also my wife said she only wanted the substantial design so i thought ultra would be perfect for us. i was somewhat wrong.amazon...
very disappointed
I've had several sets of corelle over the years and my daughter picked out this set for a facility. The first plate out of the box was so poorly printed out of line that single branch tips were double ramification tips. In looking over the dishes the picture quality was very coarse and looked and felt like a decal. We didn't even get under way the second box because we knew we were sending it back.

Since Corelle is distinguished for producing dinnerware and bakeware that cannot be broken or chipped, it's hard to resist holding a plate without defective to drop it on the tile floor to see what happens. While Corelle doesn't recommend home tests, this random 16-piece dinnerware set is still fairly indestructible and is a real asset for busy families. Livingware is tractable to maintain as it's dishwasher-, microwave- and oven-safe and is never off-limits for small children to use and control because of its light weight and durability.
The set is comprised of four 10-1/4-inch dinner plates, four 6-3/4-inch cash-and-butter plates, four 18-ounce bowls, and four 11-ounce mugs. Plates and cutlery are all made of Corelle's signature material, Vitrelle, which is created from three layers of glass that are compressed under uncompromising heat and laminated for strength. On the other hand, the mugs in this set are crafted of Corelle's stoneware, which is in reality breakable and has a heavier feel than Vitrelle. For diners who recall Corelle patterns as being highlighted with rather cutesy floral and fruit patterns, this simple, pure white pattern is dependable to appeal to their modern preferences. Livingware plates and bowls sport a relaxed and rimless coupe condition and are all stackable for more efficient storage. Absolute product
It says a lot about a produce like this when it's been continuously available since 1970. I've owned Corelle for most of the past 30 years. I recently bought a 17-music set from Wal-Mart (same as this + a 1-quart serving bowl) for about $24 to replace some Corelle pieces that didn't compete with my Winter Frost pieces and to have more place settings. The mugs are cheap stoneware made in Thailand, not Corelle. They don't utterly match the Corelle and they're going to the Goodwill along with the mismatched plates and bowls, but it was still a good lot for the rest of the set.I love Corelle. All Corelle looks as if it was stamped out of a sheet of white lorgnon, which is a result of the way it's made. There are no "base rings" or loop handles (which is why there have never been any Corelle mugs). The design makes Corelle very amenable to wash and dry. They're very thin, and they stack with virtually no extra space in between them so they use remarkably little cubbard expanse. A stack of ten...

Corelle products hand-me-down to be unbreakable, not anymore...
Got a 42 lump set of Livingware in winter frost white for xmas. The plates are nice and look devoted on a red tablecloth, though a few were slightly warped (you can see it when plates are stacked). However, that was not such a problem as the cups, which are of terrible distinction! I did not use cups on xmas and first used them today. When I took the mugs out from a box one had a barely visible break on a side, which I did not see until poured water into it and water started sipping through the crack. Called Corelle for undertaking, and they do not warranty cups! So much for a 3 year warranty! On their site and on the box it says 3 year warranty with no asterisk or new disclaimers, but in the care instructions! there is a fine print that cups are not covered. I used to like Corelle and brooding they were a reputable company, but not anymore. They outsourced cup manufacturing to Thailand and now make them out of stoneware, which is graceful much like glass. So, if you think you are buying...

Didn't pay much, but value every penny.
First of all, I have to say that I've now received three original shipments of Corelle from Amazon and two of the boxes have been mangled beyond belief. Amazingly, the dishes have all been brilliant. But I wouldn't be surprised if others have received broken plates. The set itself is just what I've been looking for, something lightweight and lasting that can handle my 4 year old's abuse. My stoneware plates are all cracked and my melamine plates fetidness weird after a run through the dishwasher, but these Corelle plates are perfect. I love how well they stack. They take up very little apartment. And the mugs I received are white. The white is slightly different from the plates because they're stoneware, not telescope. But they are definitely whiter than the picture suggests. And mine are made by Corelle. It says so right on the bottom. So maybe they've improved the mugs after all the complaints. I would greatly recommend this set to anyone with small children. And you might want to add some of the...
