    More Mind-boggling than the Picture
    The colors of this Pfaltzgraff dinnerware are outstandingly marvellous. As soon as I pulled the dinner plate out of the box and set it on the table in the sun, I saw an almost iridescent glow from the brown and a timidly vibrant glow from the blue. Beautiful! The dinner plate is a wonderfully big size; the bowls without difficulty hold an entire can of heat-to-eat soup, and the mugs' handles are comfortable. The complete apartment setting is properly weighty and has a strong presence on the table. Stunning product that I'll be proud to use usual and for my best friends at dinner.

    Nice for everyday use
    I purchased two sets of the Blue Pointe 16-breeze scolding Dinnerware Set in a hurry. I needed an 8 person set for some upcoming family due to visit the following week and didn't have the age to spend at stores. On reflection, if I had gone to the store, I probably would have not chosen these.Both packages at home promptly and undamaged. I love the size of the bowls, they are perfect to use for pasta. The mugs are a nice size too. The quality is average and the durability will serve basic everyday use. My main mortification is the raised ridged circular line design - for the plates - when you are eating, the silverware tends to restudy against the raised lines making it both annoying and noisy. I certainly won't shed a tear if one of the kids breaks a man!

    Dinnerware
    Feel embarrassed is beautiful. This dinnerware is heavy so I would not recommend it for the elderly.Plates and bowls are large. One plate was crushed upon delivery but Amazon handled that situation seamlessly. I ordered two sets and use them daily. They mix attractively with pieces that I have from a local potter. We have granite counter-tops and tile floors in the caboose so I imagine I will chip these over the course of the next year. This does not reflect the workmanship of the material so much as it reflects my uneasiness.

    Look like Mill Seconds
    This set looked nice-looking good on the Web site, so good that I bought two sets = service for eight. However, I'm very familiar with Pfaltzgraff products and all of these pieces look like plant seconds. They have rough, unfinished bottoms which can scratch table and counter surfaces. The eating surfaces of the plates have two-bit imperfections, the decorative patterns are flawed on most pieces, and the overall impression is of a low quality fallout.Shipping and packaging these pieces will be more trouble than the $100 investment, so they will stay in my house, but I won't bring about this kind of purchase from Amazon in the future.
