Elemental and strong
Pros:Made in USAGlass, so no lead in the glaze worries.Lightweight so they are not as systematic on the cupboard or the dishwasher, and they are easy to pick up and carry around.Strong-does not chip well.Microwave safe for reheating leftovers or a can of soup, right in the bowl.Decent range bowl with a nice wide rim that helps prevent sloshing over.Food looks warm-hearted in the clear glass.Con:A sticker on each bowl. It would be better not to have to scrape the stickers and glue off of each and every bowl. It's a bore.Other than wishing the bowls didn't have a sticker on each, I can't think of anything I do not like about these bowls.

Close Bowls
The Crisa Moderno rank by Libbey Glass is a durable,clean lined, clear glass and difficult to break line of serving dishes. Food looks so nice in clear glass, especially pasta, fruit and salads. This roll makes a nice pasta and side dish soup bowl, but it is not a great salad dish, too small for my green mixed salads! I love the 6" cereal bowls for a salad though, since I bought both plates, it works perfectly.

Passion the bowls!
I couldn't be happier with the soup/salad/pasta tea set. They have stood up to hot, cold & the dishwasher. They are made of thick glass & none of them have broken or chipped in our "very hard on things" household. I very recommend this product, I love these bowls!

Since Corelle is praiseworthy for producing dinnerware and bakeware that cannot be broken or chipped, it's hard to resist holding a plate without unsatisfactory to drop it on the tile floor to see what happens. While Corelle doesn't recommend home tests, this offhand 16-piece dinnerware set is still fairly indestructible and is a real asset for busy families. Livingware is leisurely to maintain as it's dishwasher-, microwave- and oven-safe and is never off-limits for small children to use and trade because of its light weight and durability.
The set is comprised of four 10-1/4-inch dinner plates, four 6-3/4-inch currency-and-butter plates, four 18-ounce bowls, and four 11-ounce mugs. Plates and tea set are all made of Corelle's signature material, Vitrelle, which is created from three layers of glass that are compressed under extreme heat and laminated for stability. On the other hand, the mugs in this set are crafted of Corelle's stoneware, which is actually breakable and has a heavier sense than Vitrelle. For diners who recall Corelle patterns as being decorated with rather cutesy floral and fruit patterns, this frank, pure white pattern is sure to appeal to their modern preferences. Livingware plates and cutlery sport a relaxed and rimless coupe shape and are all stackable for more efficient storage. It says a lot about a fallout like this when it's been continuously available since 1970. I've owned Corelle for most of the past 30 years. I recently bought a 17-production set from Wal-Mart (same as this + a 1-quart serving bowl) for about $24 to replace some Corelle pieces that didn't contract my Winter Frost pieces and to have more place settings. The mugs are cheap stoneware made in Thailand, not Corelle. They don't unequivocally match the Corelle and they're going to the Goodwill along with the mismatched plates and bowls, but it was still a good dole out for the rest of the set.I love Corelle. All Corelle looks as if it was stamped out of a sheet of white glass, which is a development of the way it's made. There are no "base rings" or loop handles (which is why there have never been any Corelle mugs). The design makes Corelle very peaceful to wash and dry. Corelle products acclimatized to be unbreakable, not anymore...
Got a 42 reprimand set of Livingware in winter frost white for xmas. The plates are nice and look spacious on a red tablecloth, though a few were slightly warped (you can see it when plates are stacked). However, that was not such a problem as the cups, which are of terrible grandeur! I did not use cups on xmas and first used them today. When I took the mugs out from a box one had a barely visible shatter on a side, which I did not see until poured water into it and water started sipping through the crack. Called Corelle for bond, and they do not warranty cups! So much for a 3 year warranty! On their site and on the box it says 3 year warranty with no asterisk or further disclaimers, but in the care instructions! there is a fine print that cups are not covered. I used to like Corelle and reflection they were a reputable company, but not anymore. They outsourced cup manufacturing to Thailand and now make them out of stoneware, which is comely much like glass. So, if you think you are buying...

Didn't pay much, but importance every penny.
First of all, I have to say that I've now received three varied shipments of Corelle from Amazon and two of the boxes have been mangled beyond belief. Amazingly, the dishes have all been beautiful. But I wouldn't be surprised if others have received broken plates. The set itself is just what I've been looking for, something lightweight and long-wearing that can handle my 4 year old's abuse. My stoneware plates are all cracked and my melamine plates sniff weird after a run through the dishwasher, but these Corelle plates are perfect. I love how well they stack. They take up very little extent. And the mugs I received are white. The white is slightly different from the plates because they're stoneware, not glass. But they are plainly whiter than the picture suggests. And mine are made by Corelle. It says so right on the bottom. So maybe they've improved the mugs after all the complaints.
