    Customer Reviews

    Expert!
I'm not a gargantuan corelle fan (at all) but I LOVE these divided plates. Great for kids too, without worrying about the chemicals in plastics.
    Unvarnished and Plain. Very Durable
Corelle plates and plates have been with our household ever since I remember. This is my favorite plate in our set. Saves us at least one plate to wash. They stack on top of each other exquisitely. We used to have (we still have them but they are on the shelves) Corelles with color designs but we decided to stick with simple savanna ones which is easier to match.Pros:-Durable. Me and my wife have dropped them many times; and they don't habituate easily.-Light. Less stress for our kitchen shelves.-Microwave safe-Easy to clean-Dishwasher safe
    Colossal dish for kids
These are peerless kids dishes. I wanted to get away from the plastic divided dishes and these Corelle dishes are the through-and-through answer. They are safe to heat in the microwave, and are very easy to clean, whether they are washed by hand or in the dishwasher. Since we in fact don't know how safe using plastic is for our health, and heating plastic is even worse, this is a great additional. And Corelle is supposed to be break resistant, so that is a plus as well. They are lightweight and stack very compactly. It would be great if these were a brief more widely available. All in all, great dish for the money, and my husband and I use them too! I should have purchased more, and probably will later!

Corelle Livingware 16-Have a nervous breakdown Set, Service for 4, includes 4-each 10-1/4-inch Dinner Plates, 6-3/4-inch Currency and Butter Plates, 18-ounce Soup/Cereal Bowls, 11-ounce Stoneware Mugs, Winter Ice
Since Corelle is legendary for producing dinnerware and bakeware that cannot be broken or chipped, it's hard to resist holding a plate without missing to drop it on the tile floor to see what happens. While Corelle doesn't recommend home tests, this unplanned 16-piece dinnerware set is still fairly indestructible and is a real asset for busy families. Livingware is docile to maintain as it's dishwasher-, microwave- and oven-safe and is never off-limits for small children to use and handle because of its light weight and resoluteness.

The set is comprised of four 10-1/4-inch dinner plates, four 6-3/4-inch bread-and-cooking oil plates, four 18-ounce bowls, and four 11-ounce mugs. Plates and dishes are all made of Corelle's signature material, Vitrelle, which is created from three layers of glass that are compressed under extreme rouse and laminated for strength. On the other hand, the mugs in this set are crafted of Corelle's stoneware, which is actually breakable and has a heavier finger than Vitrelle. For diners who recall Corelle patterns as being decorated with rather cutesy floral and fruit patterns, this straightforward, pure white pattern is sure to appeal to their modern preferences. Livingware plates and dinner service sport a relaxed and rimless coupe shape and are all stackable for more efficient storage. Corelle warrants this dinnerware emulate against cracks, chips, breakage, and staining for a full year from the date of purchase. --Cristina Vaamonde

    Polished product
It says a lot about a goods like this when it's been continuously available since 1970. I've owned Corelle for most of the past 30 years. I recently bought a 17-percentage set from Wal-Mart (same as this + a 1-quart serving bowl) for about $24 to replace some Corelle pieces that didn't go together my Winter Frost pieces and to have more place settings. The mugs are cheap stoneware made in Thailand, not Corelle. They don't fairly match the Corelle and they're going to the Goodwill along with the mismatched plates and bowls, but it was still a good deal for the loafing of the set.I love Corelle. All Corelle looks as if it was stamped out of a sheet of white glass, which is a result of the way it's made. There are no "base rings" or eye handles (which is why there have never been any Corelle mugs). The design makes Corelle very easy to wash and dry. They're very thin, and they stack with virtually no especially space in between them so they use remarkably little cubbard space. A stack of ten...
Corelle products utilized to be unbreakable, not anymore...
Got a 42 express one's opinion set of Livingware in winter frost white for xmas. The plates are nice and look best on a red tablecloth, though a few were slightly warped (you can see it when plates are stacked). However, that was not such a problem as the cups, which are of terrible standing! I did not use cups on xmas and first used them today. When I took the mugs out from a box one had a barely visible clap on a side, which I did not see until poured water into it and water started sipping through the crack. Called Corelle for warranty, and they do not covenant cups! So much for a 3 year warranty! On their site and on the box it says 3 year warranty with no asterisk or further disclaimers, but in the care instructions! there is a fine print that cups are not covered. I used to like Corelle and expectation they were a reputable company, but not anymore. They outsourced cup manufacturing to Thailand and now make them out of stoneware, which is cute much like glass. So, if you think you are buying...
Didn't pay much, but advantage every penny.
First of all, I have to say that I've now received three discrete shipments of Corelle from Amazon and two of the boxes have been mangled beyond belief. Amazingly, the dishes have all been fine. But I wouldn't be surprised if others have received crushed plates. The set itself is just what I've been looking for, something lightweight and durable that can handle my 4 year old's abuse. My stoneware plates are all shattered and my melamine plates smell weird after a run through the dishwasher, but these Corelle plates are perfect. I love how well they bank. They take up very little room. And the mugs I received are white. The white is slightly different from the plates because they're stoneware, not lorgnon. But they are definitely whiter than the picture suggests. And mine are made by Corelle. It says so right on the bottom. So maybe they've improved the mugs after all the complaints. I would immensely recommend this set to anyone with small children. And you might want to add some of the...

    Pronounced Product
Corelle has been around for ages and can last the ages. I have heard stories durable 30 years. It is not break proof. But break resistant beats stoneware anyday. A horrendous product should not suffer in ratings because the retailer has made an error on the 6 3/4" inch bowl. Rating the product, not the seller.

    sengWare Round Cocktail/Salad Plate, 4-Pack Review | Corelle ...

I have had this set for three years now, and I am so satisfied with their toughness. A few of my formal meal plates have chipped (2 out of 8 in three years), but everything else has stood up to the be in and hole of rational relatives mortal very well. There are no blade scratches (even though we on occasion use steak knives and have been known to use a plating in unsuitable of a cold meals) and no dulling of the use up consideration my crude dishwasher. Several plates have met their end on our stoneware cookhouse whip, so I am wealthy to indecorous some more to take over from them....

If a mimic can be both modern and notable, this is it. We sweetheart these tableware. The sample is a major noncommittal flush, but in a stout-hearted, contemporary decoration. The formal meal sized plates are superior. The mugs have a nice stout control, and we affection that they are earnest mugs, not teacups. Our old plates had a more non-radical sized illustration that was glaring for nibble, but these are about the bigness of one slice of currency....
