United Dolly is a "back saver"
I reach-me-down the Shoulder Dolly system to help my son and his family move. At first there was a lot of resistance to the new gadget, but by the 3rd heavy walnut caddy of drawers, it was get the "strappie thing" and let's move this beast. A simple system that works extremely well. Lift with your legs/thighs and cart the weight evenly across your shoulders and not your arms and biceps. Everyone who tried it said "where do I get one, I will not move heavy fitments without it ! " Highly recommended. Follow Up: (Sept '05) bought my second set, my son would not give up the set he acquainted with to move with. I will not move furniture without one again !
Works important
Employed this to haul a very heavy TV out of the basement (which we had to slide down the stairs it was so heavy). Worked loyal. Also moved all our furniture. We didn't have it for the move out but bought it before we moved back in and the different was huge. Makes prevailing around corners or up and down stairs much easier.I give it only 4 stars because for the price the shoulder straps should be padded. It should also have clips or some instrument to secure the extra strap so it is not a tripping hazard.When going up and down stairs make ineluctable you get the item lifted as high as possible.

Works so far, but wishes improvement and better instructions
We were accomplished to use this product successfully to move a heavy TV set. When we first got the TV, we moved it "by hand" and one of us got a bad muscle strain when the TV started slipping out of our hold. This time, with the Shoulder Dolly, we were able to move it across a room, out a door, down four steps, and set it on the ground, without much weigh down.Sounds great, right? The problem is, the main carrying strap -- the big 5" to one side one that passes underneath the big object -- was too long. To perform our move, we had to fold that strap over and outmoded it through one of the two harnesses at double thickness. It worked, but it is NOT described in the manual.Instead, the manual suggests that you correspond with the company to BUY MORE STRAPS of differing lengths if you face the situation we did. Gee, that's helpful advice to get when you unstinting the package ready to perform a move. And where in this product listing does it mention the need for extra straps? Nowhere...

We have one and adoration it!
I as a matter of fact bought this on Ebay, but am about to buy a second one here because it's cheaper on Amazon!This is a fabulous little dolly. It's not quite just a luggage cart..everyone has wheeled luggage these days anyway.We use it in our warehouse to haul 70 palpitate instil boxes around and it fits into the car easily so that when it's time to drop off a mountain of boxes at the PO or haul home the things I prepared on Amazon (grin), it's right there.Getting a second one so that we can keep one at home, too.We tried other folding carts and they couldn't deal with the weights we were putting on them. This one is great and the price can't be beat.Don't try this at home, kids, but I was able to lift my 175 beat into rid hubby off the floor and wheel him around on it..it's one tough little dolly.Update 3 years later: These carts have seen almost habitually usage for nearly 3 years now and are still in perfect condition. I have never had a 'personal'...
Folding wheels are passionate ... and terrible
The folding wheels are the most successfully ... and worst feature. They make the unit much easier to carry and store. But they put the hinge point too far behind the load and that throws off the balance.Unintuitively, it works better with big loads than two-dimensional; i.e., it is easier to move two boxes than just one! To balance short loads, you have to push the handle too far down (too climax to horizontal) to be really comfortable. Fortunately, the handle is long, so it is not too awkward.Tall plenty balance better. Moving one box is easier if you stand it on end than the more natural bottom.

I organized all my camping stuffs in several 12-gallon dimension storage containers. I use this handy truck to transfer those storage containers from car to the tent position. Initiallzy, I was worried if the wheel is too small for outside unpaved roads. But it turns out justifiable fine. The whole construction of this hand truck is solid. Especially, the flat side on the bottom for carrying plenty is long enough (not the width) to ensure stable rolling on unpaved roads around camping side. It works basic for moving things around. Very good value for this low price. Definitely a good product that I will buy again and I will persuade to my friends.

Forearm forklift helped in a jam
Not to want ago I moved into a new home. I used the forearm forklift many times. I found it was ideal for moving big items, for admonition my 65" projection tv, which weighs roughly 350lbs. Without the forearm forklift it took 4 men to move, with the forearm forklift it took 2! The only downside to this upshot is using it to go up or downstairs with big items. It is not easy almost scary, I found it to be safer to not use the straps then pick them up after the steps.

Lived up to the hype - unfriendly product.
I try to cloth out the hype that sometimes ends up in reviews on this site - but the reviews on this product seemed to have a bit of truth to them so I ordered them. I am very impressed; these in the end do help out.One of the biggest challenges I often have when working around the house is moving large items by myself. My ball is always willing to try and help but her will is sometimes larger than her muscles.Now, these make it much easier for us. Last weekend, we used these to move a washer and dryer from one end of the underground store to the other. No problem at all. Before using these, I would have struggled to get this done but these straps made it very easy for her to help me and we got the job done quickly and probably much more safely. It was so relaxed I was almost laughing.Enough said... these lived up the hype. I'm very glad to own them.

Substantial, but not great
The forearm forklifts profession very well for lifting heavy things (washers, dryers, couches, etc) on flat surfaces. When you try to go up stairs, the ourselves on the bottom has an easy job, and the person going up at the top should probably have arms like Rocky. For going up stairs with Open-handed objects, I actually have a product called "Shoulder Dolly".Forearm Forklifts are quicker for like a shot surfaces, but for going up stairs, you need something that goes over your shoulders.

Uhaul is infuriating to charge 10 bucks for one and I figure I could just buy one at home depot then return it then eat a good 10 dollar carry to extremes afterwords with the money I saved.
I realize it's unethical, but I have no problem
The caveat is that it has to be returned in "new" outfit. They likely have the option to charge restocking and or issue store credit. They have no mind-boggler sticking it to dishonest customers.
