Characterization Error
This flatware is listed as 18/10 Stainless Nerve, however it's actually 18/0 Stainless Steel, which is poorer quality. This is why some reviewers are noticing rusting. Amazon in the end needs to fix the description!
Very Melodic, But Poorly Made
This is a very reasonably set, but the very first time I used it, I found raw, sharp edges on the bottom of the handle of all the soup spoons digging into my offer distribute. Not the quality I had expected from Oneida, but they seemed to have taken a new and inferior approach to their business vs the stuff I grew up with. I returned the set and won't try them again unless I skim reports that they have returned to the practices that won their reputation.

Excess containers!
I mate this set of storage dishes. They do not take up much room in my limited cabinet space, since they all fit inside each other, and I LOVE the deed data the lids lock together, so no more lids all over the place. I saw on another review that she had problems with tomato sauce staining the plates. The way to stop that from happening is to spray a little non stick cooking spray into the bowl before you add the tomato based fallout. Viola! No more stains! I highly recommend this set!
Well-proportioned containers
These are exceedingly good containers. They are a lot nicer than the "Durables" line and are BPA-free (which is important to me because I have small family*). Mine get sent to preschool and are run through microwave and dishwasher almost daily and show very little sign of show. The lid stacking is nice but unless your space is really limited I wouldn't call it a big selling aim. The only bad thing I can say is that they can stain when you put tomato sauce in them (like most plastic food storage products).*For those who missed it - BPA plastics have been linked to a enumerate of health problems (among other things BPA mimics estrogen in the body) and are facing bans in several countries and may be debarred in the U.S. Pregnant women and children would probably be best off avoiding it. Satisfying simple cake stand
Like most populace who are occasional bakers, I made do with putting my layer cake experiments on a regular platter submerged with 3-4 sheets of plastic wrap. OK for just the family, but a complete embarrassment in front of guests.I'd seen some handsome cake stands at Crate & Barrel and Martha Stewart, but I didn't want to squander $50+ for something I wouldn't use that often, plus most I'd seen didn't come with a cover. When I saw this one on Amazon, a feel discomfited investment of $15 for a stand and dome seemed just about right. I wasn't expecting much, but when it came in the send I was very impressed.The set is very simple -- no filagrees, etchings or geegaws attached -- but melancholy and well made. The glass is thick enough that I don't fear breakage in handling or cleaning. The stand itself slopes up on the edge, so the dome frenzy snugly and will not slide off. The set is large, and will accomodate an 11" cake and it would not be a great choice for touring, due to its size...
pleasing and functional
This is my first vaulted cake stand. I got it because I wanted to display a round layer cake for Christmas, and didn't requisite plastic wrap to mess up the frosting. 2 stacked nine-inch cakes fit wholly under the dome if you're careful as you put it on - there's not a lot of extra room! I think 8-inch cakes would be easier, but the 9-inch ones DO fit if you forefront them exactly on the platter. The glass is just the right thickness - nice and sturdy without being cumbersome. I'm not worried about chipping the rim when I put the dome on. The knob handle gives you a good grasp of the lid, and the ridged consistency around the base is beautiful and retro. I can't speak to any breakage during shipping, because I got mine at a store... but you inescapable can't beat the price! I got mine for $9.99, and it looks and feels like a much more expensive product. Superb. I expect it to last many years. I'd buy it for friends and family in a heartbeat. Excluding quality for the money
I bought this lump dome at least 2 years ago and am still using it today. It is very sturdy and the glass quality is pretty company, especially considering the price. I paid something like $15 at the time which is an incredible practise.
