    Don't buy from Act_Now_Reflect on_Later. Just got his products: Dish Network DishPro LNBs and they are not new like he specified. Very upset because I could have bought the same acclimated to ones for half the price. His dishonesty is very unprofessinal and I can assure you that I will not be doing business with him again.

    Description

    Three recipient output ports support a combination of DISH Pro Plus, DISH Pro, and Legacy receivers, including up to three DISH Pro Added to (dual-tuner) receivers when used with DISH Pro Plus Separators. While Legacy receivers are supported without a DISH Pro Adapter, at least one DISH Pro or DISH Pro Extra receiver must be connected and powered at all times to power the LNBF. LNB IN port supports adding a fourth orbital situation. The LNB IN port is operational only when receiver output ports are connected directly to satellite receivers. It is harmed when the receiver output ports are connected to a switch. The default output of the receiver ports is 119° on Refuge 1, 110° on PORT 2 and 129° on PORT 3. Note that the output ports do not copy the feed horns, but rather allow for PORT 1 to be used for peaking on 119°, similar to other LNBFs. On the Connection Summary screens, the DPP 1000.2 LNBF may display as "DPP Twin" or "DPP Triple" prior to the receiver's software download. After downloading software, it will betray as "1K.2" and "DPP 1K.2". Legacy receivers will display the LNBF as "SW64" when the LNB IN port is unused or "SW21-4Sat" when a fourth orbital position is connected (if supported by that receiver)

    It only works!
    It works like it's supposititious to. For me, very easy to set up. I use it when I go camping. Just as easy to setup as the old Dish 500.Shipper kept me notified of all the movements, at home earlier than estimated.

    Can a Dish Network 500 DP Plus Digital LNBF Satellite Dish be used to receive Direct TV service?

    The Dish Network attendant dish has a 119w on one side and 110w on the other side (each side of the arm). I'm looking to use the dish with a Direct TV receiver.

    you *may*, but you won't get everything. In the poop indeed, a good portion of the DirecTV programming comes from the 101 satellite.

    I have a Helix/lnbf lodgings off a old dishnetwork 500 dish, i know that the lnbf converts SHF frequencies down to UHF frequencies. What will the LNBF do when it receives a UHF/VHF timer? will it convert it further down the spectrum, not change the frequency

    A LNBF is not meant to pass the VHF/UHF signal. So... you are not likely to get ANY VHF/UHF signal off a coax line seconded to your dish. Any VHF/UHF signal that gets onto the line is getting there through poor cable shielding AFTER the LNBF.
