Corelle Buttercup
I bought this dinnerware a month ago, and I give it 5 stars all around! I received the items very right away from Amazon and everything arrived in perfect condition. The dinnerware is lightweight and durable with a lovely sprig of buttercups on it. The feast and luncheon plates are a generous size and their shape keeps dining neat. The corners are rounded satisfying and they slope down to a round center. This is very helpful when you have sauce or gravy on the plate. Rather than fall off the coat, it goes down to the center. The soup/salad plates are also square and they hold a regular can of soup nicely. The cups are mild to hold and they have a buttercup design on each side, which you can't see in the picture. I use this dinnerware everyday and it makes casual dining believe elegant!

Corelle Dinnerware
Very thrilled with the Corelle Square 16 piece Dinnerware set. We ordered two sets giving us service for eight. This set replaced another set of Corelle dinnerware that was 20+ years old and still common strong. We just wanted to update hence the replacement(but still keeping the old stuff for backup because it still looks wonderful and continues to do the job).First thing I noticed was that the pieces were just a little bit thinner than the set it replaced, continually will tell whether or not this will have any impact on durability. They come with an unbeatable guarantee. You break it in normal use, they change it. One of the dinner plates arrived with a small chip on the plates edge. One call to Corelle was all it took to have a very well wrapped replacement FedExed to us. Corelle type dinnerware has been around a long time and we can attest to it's long term durability. Keen serving set
These big plates are perfect for serving family-style meals, and the Winter Frost set, while casual, is still elegant enough for a holiday table in all its understated elegance. These bowls hold hearty portions for self-serving, and are lightweight enough to be passed around the chart easily. Both the 1 quart and 2 quart sizes do double duty as great servers for popcorn, chips, and other ample snacks. This is the perfect accessory for your Winter Frost set!

Slight dish set
Plates are very chip-resistant. Dishes have not etched in our dishwasher over a few months of use (and counting), and still have a glossy display. I would purchase again.
Ah Corelle!
Superb perfect perfect. What more can I say? Durable, beautiful, lasts and lasts. There is one 2-qt and also there are two 1-qt bowls in this set. The 1 qt we use for soup, antipasto, spaghetti, etc for feast bowls and this size is of course a great veggie server. Great size, no provisions falls overboard. The 2 qt is good for snacks during a movie: popcorn, chips, etc. It is also good for clam or lobster shells to keep your overlay clear.

Corelle is the richest!
I bought this to put back a set of Corelle dinnerware we've had over 15 years. The old set start getting gray and streaky as if the years of utensils against the covering in daily use finally took a toll. When I decided to replace that set, I had no doubt that it would be with another set of Corelle. It is lightweight, dishwasher and microwave true, is thin enough to not stack too high in the cabinet, and it stays nice looking even with heavy use.This set arrived well up to there, the Corelle box and bubble packing inside another box, and everything was intact. The plates are really big! We will probably end up using the lunch plates as feast plates sometimes. The bowls also have a very large capacity, easily two cups.One main difference between this set and my old one is the coffee cups are not the same cloth as the dishes... they used to be made of the same 'vitrelle' and now are porcelain. I like the new ones better; they have a little more heft and keep...

Only one matter-of-fact fault
I betrothed these plates - they are attractive and durable. In particular, the cups and bowls are good, practical sizes. My one squawk is that the black stripes are a different finish and rougher texture from the rest of the plate. Then when a fork scrapes across one, we all get spine-tingles! If you are sensitive to this, you probably want to choose a distinguishable style. But I do highly recommend Corelle in general. My 5-yr-old cannot seem to destroy them (and he does try).

I have had this plan for over a year
I in the final analysis liked this pattern when it came out and immediately bought 2 sets. I am here to buy another (always compare prices).I had Corelle increasing up and liked the lightweight nature of it and the durability. However, the patterns were not so hot for a while. The newer patterns are great! I gave my old tableware to a college-bound relative when I got these. It was just too hard on my hands lifting 4 stacked stoneware plates from the diswasher to the cupboard.FYI, and stoneware/porcelain/stoneware dishes with chips should be discarded as dirt/bacteria can get into the unglazed part and you can't get it out. I don't like taking chances with my one's nearest's safety. I have never chipped a Corelle dish. My mother did drop one at walmart and it shattered into about a zillion shards, so it is plausible.The only bummer about this set is that the mugs ARE NOT corelle glass. They match but are ceramic. My old set had corelle mugs. The paint does look slenderize...
