Corelle Open and above-board
I wanted Corelle ware because of it's resoluteness and weight. My mother has had a set for more years than I can remember. When I saw the square design, I knew that was what I wanted. A proven prizewinner in a contemporary design! The iris pattern is simple - yet elegant. I love it.

Plates are very good-looking and useful.The square round is a more modern shape.The design will go with any meal setting.1 shipped box was not wall-to-wall well, and some of the dishes broke.Contacted the shipper and a replacement wasout in a week.

DOES NOT Correspond CORELLE SHADOW IRIS DISHES !!!!!
This is a Easily painted in China replica of corelle.It is NOT corelle,it is ceramic,and it is beige in color,not white as pictured.The "mitt painted" is lousy.Thoroughly disgusted with this.
If you are looking for Corelle materials and status, this is not the set that you want. They are a type of ceramic.
We are OK with this artefact, but it is not Corelle material. It is more like a ceramic that has been glazed. The pictures are deceiving. We will keep them and use them.

Evasive Description
This memorandum is not made by Corele. This item is made by a generic company CORELLEcoordinates -- and yes that is how they type their name on the bottom of the pieces. Corele makes a thin, lissom weight, almost unbreakable material. This material looks and feels like basic stoneware. The Shadow Iris pattern is hand painted and looks similar but not the same as the Corelle pattern that was discontinued several years ago.The spoon resk is exquisite and deep but it is narrow, making it rather useless.I do like the salt shakers though, they made the sale worthwile for me. I remember they aren' orignial Corelle ware, but I kind of doubt Corelle ever made these anyway. Wonderful Microwave Set
I protection't used my microwave a lot for cooking, mostly as I suspect a lot of people do for re-heating and I'm very happy with all the new things that are nearby for use in the microwave since I first tried microwave cooking quite a long time ago and was not pleased with the results.These plates for example. I cooked 1.5 lbs of 85% ground beef in the largest one for 7.5 minutes on dear power in a 1000 watt microwave and it was completely cooked, no hard or uncooked spots and it was suntanned. I used the lid that came with it and my microwave was steamed nicely but not splattered with grease, an excellent side impact.In the glass dish I have been using it takes almost twice this time to cook the same amount of ground complain, and it does not come out brown at all, there are hard pieces in it and it is unevenly cooked.What a difference prematurely and technology makes.I am disabled due to severe RA and these are going to be wonderful for me. Conversant and adorable!
These three itty-bitty microwave dishes are just GREAT! You can use them to store leftovers, then warm them up, or as little storage containers. They were a bit smaller than I had musing they'd be but they are great for my smaller family. It is adorable how they look like the Corning Ware Casserole tableware too :-)
