Applicable and beautiful
I'm ethical going to get this part out of the way. If you grew up a certain...way, Corelle dishes have a class connotation. If you want to convince your public betters they're not your betters, you better choose different plates. Ok. I said it.I, however, am able to prosper above such pettiness and bring home the plates of the people. Here's why. Have you ever had children? Tile floors? Clear-cut countertops? Or most destructive of all, a lummox of a husband? Then you, like me, may have lost 9 of your 10 cereal dishes, and 8 of your 10 coffee mugs to breakage. Perhaps you, like me, don't always enjoy lifting a big, heavy measure up of ceramic plates high up on a shelf.I thought, there has to be something sturdier, and lighter, but that won't get scratched up by cutlery, and that when register in Chinese-made dog food won't be a lethal poison. Answer? Corelle. And the price? I paid more per setting for my old saucers than I paid for the 4-set of these.The Mandarin...

Corelle Mandarin Flower serving dishes.
I received the Corelle Mandarin responsibility settings and found them to be exatly as pictured.I gave one the old throw on the flow (hardwood test) and it passed with flying colors.These are much lighter than the other plates I purchased and I am very happy with theirlooks and weight. I would recommend them to anyone that wants a good looking order settingthat is nearly unbreakable and will give good service for daily use.

Leaning these
While reviewing these corelle spectacles, many people say that they're not for fine dining. Of course they're not for fine dining! They're for everyday use. They're perfect for this practicality. They are very durable. They are strong enough that they don't bend even if you squeeze like most plastic cups do. The size is Brobdingnagian for adults. I'd suggest getting a set of the smaller ones in addition to these if you have small children because they'd be too big for tiny hands. The print on them is very attractive--for everyday cups, they are very pretty. I was a little hesitant about the upright shape, but it is actually really nice. It isn't exactly square--just sort of rounded with upstanding sides. It actually makes it more comfortable to hold in your hands.

Fondness these tall cups
I have a cheap child in the house and these are the only beautiful cups that i will allow her to touch. They are quite pretty and made of a ticklish high grade plastic that resembles glass so when little hands use them the only worry is if they let the cat out of the bag its contents :)also the size of them holds a nice amount of liquid which is great at dinner time.
